It's probably the alternator bearing. I have same issue unresolved.

I've used the car and currently the car has issues. It started with shorting oil which I started servicing every 3weeks. Right now, car engine is weak and it smokes like crazy.

The mechanic checked and said the engine has been ring(Ed)(sed) before so he said I have to re-bore.

Please profs, I intend using this car a while after balancing and I need the surest solution possible.

I want a Belgium engine but mechanic said re-bore puts engine at same grade with Belgium.

I'm a novice and I am confused.

Please I need suggestion and advice.

Did he open the engine B4 he came to the conclusion of re-regging as works carried out B4?

So if U park your car and in the morning you find oil o n the floor your car is leaking oil when it is not under pressure. did they check round the Sump seal and oil change bolt?

he saw the engine was tempered with so I asked the owner.

There is no way of telling if an Engine was rigged unless you open up the Engine.

ahah your rewire is Dammed, you got issues with timing, have your timing checked. Or if your timing/chain/belt is due for replacement do it

Good day everyone. My vehicle (Peugeot 406) have some AC issues. When the AC is on, only the air vents on the passenger side will be chilling while the 2 air vents on the driver's side are not.
What could be the problem and how can it be resolved? I have visited several AC technicians and they seem clueless about the issue.

Pls I need una assistance with my car. It all started that whenever I start driving the car for the first 20-30mins if I don't rev the car high to like above 3000 the car will be jerking gently kind of, and if I check the rev meter too it will see the needle going up and down small small, but after driving for a while it will stop and the car will move very well. Since this is not a major issue I kept using it that way till I will have time to visit the mech not until few days ago that while I was going back him in the night the car stops accelerating, like I press the throttle but it will not respond all I am hearing is a clicking sound under the carpet of the seat beside the driver in front. Once i press acceleration and the car want to respond I will just hear the click sound and the car will not respond to me again, then I off the engine and light then start it again this time the acceleration just respond a little above the 1000 rev on the meter then the car start to move small small till I got home that night. The following morning the car drives like nothing happened to it the previous night but I took it to my mech who said I should go and scan it, which I did and the person said something that one wire has cut somewhere or something and he fix it the check engine light on the dashboard went off and the car temp meter that doesn't work before start to work. Also the fan start to work in auto mode because before when I on the engine the fan will start immediately, but now the fan might not start for the first 30-1hr of driving and when it start it will be working in low speed (don't know if it is normal )though no overheating .
Now the problem is I am not sure what he fix is what is affecting the gear problem and the issues I face the other night while going home. And I don't want it to happen like that again before I fix the issue permanently which is why I want to seek the opinion of car gurus on this platform. Thanks in anticipation for your input.

Good day all, my Toyota Correct Sports 2006 has been giving me issues.

You can use it, but if it is not premixed be sure that you mix it! It must be half water. It is better to use purified water, or you will have mineral contamination.

Diagnose all the issues before treatment.

Hi everyone, i own a lexus es 300, 2003 model and just recently the temperature guage started to exceed half mark. I use toyota recommended coolant and i have no idea what the problem is.

One day i drove a short distance in a hot afternoon, i opened the hood and saw my upper radiator hose is swollen but the temperature is at the half mark. Next day driving, it was going up towards the red danger zone and i had to off the engine. I opened the hood and the coplant reservoir is boiling like a pot of water and overflowing, spilling on the ground till the radiator is empty
I got another coolant in there and drove again same thing happened. I called a mechanic and he said i have to take out the thermostat and run the fan straight to ignition with a relay. I figured that might be the only option so the car can move out of where it was without damaging the engine. I got them to do it for a little token, the fans will come on once the ignition is on until the ignition is off and the temperature regulation is running super cool, hardly up to the half mark.

I got home with the thermostat, put it in a pot with water and started heating it. The thermostat opened as the temperature got to boilimg point and closed as i took it out into cold water.

I am plannimg to return my car cooling system to default settings with a new thermostat in place but i am not sure what the problem is. My closest guess is that maybe the thermostat is opening at a higher temperature other than 82 degrees celcius for which it is rated and is causing the engine to run hot. So I am wondering if there are other intricate configurations, sensors, switches to look into. When the car was running hot, the fan engages actually but only when temperature guage is at the half mark, I don't know of this is normal. I feel the thermostat is stuck close hence water can't get into the engine but instead flows out into already full and boilimg reservoir. Also, as they removed the thermostat, everything cooled down. Two things I am suspecting, are the thermostat, and if there is a separate sensor or switch that controls the fan which might need replacing.

The mech around me are not savvy enough, it took a fight to convince a mech that oil leakage from broken seal is due to a broken pcv valve, he doesn't even know wetin be pcv valve so I am following up on my car myself. Any ideas are welcome.
