Re: Bashir Machina: I Won’t Step Down For Lawan by Jeezuzpick(m): 7:01am On Jun 16, 2022 |
Newton2024: Even if he steps down, wouldn't the primaries be rerun? Would the same people who voted for him have voted for Lawan? Can the votes given to Machina simply be automatically transferred to Lawan who never ran for election? What of the aspirant who came second, shouldn't he or she have the right of first refusal? It's not only an illegality, it's illogical and nonsensical. 11 Likes |

yinkus6750: I agree with the guy, he should not stand down for Lawan. How can someone get the confidence of the Voters, win an election and another person who did not take part in the election, try to claim it? Even INEC must ban such nonsense, it is UNdemocratic. No one should be imposed on the People. Once people like Lawan get into one Office, they turn Politics to their Life Occupation, doing nothing else than fleecing Nigerians. Well, one day, Nigerians will wake up and treat the Bleep-up of these Politicians, 9 Likes 1 Share |

I think I like this. Lawan is so greedy, he ought not to feature in that Presidential Primary election, having known that APC zoned it to the South. But as a result of his greediness and myopic views that the North are "Born to Rule", he came out and disgraced himself, imagine a number three Citizen almost came last in that election. Lawan Ahmed, take a chill pill 'cos you can't have your Cake and eat it. 4 Likes |

My reaction right now is ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When we said lawan was a rubber stamp senate president, his party loyalists were busy bombarding us with abusive words. It serves him right. He taught he would be their consensus candidate and this is a lesson to some of us the Yorubas for always following these aboki like mumu. I learnt tinubu played a great role in installing him as senate president. In fact, tinubu was said to have preferred him over saraki since the beginning of their tenure as the ruling party but saraki had his way. Same lawan said he'd support Tinubu's ambition only to backtrack a few days later. I'm still wondering the kind of concoction they cooked for my people for always suppling these people, they'd learn the hard way in coming days. These people don't give a hoot about the yoruba race rather, always looking for a way of occupying our land and exterminating us, God forbid. I watched the channels TV last night during which the guy was talking with confidence that he would never step down for lawan. To say na me, I go do same. Lawan has lost both ways. Naxo God dey deal with greedy people. I wish Bala Muhammed was treated same way. 4 Likes |
