Salvationone:But why are you leaving Nigeria if you have this much money? Why are you begging another country to accept you if you're already part of 1% in your country? Why do you want to leave your comfortability in Nigeria only to end up doing 3 odd jobs per day.. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Born2conquer: 5:36am On Jun 16, 2022 |
Travel threads is a proof that the people leaving Nigeria are the well-to-do ones, how do y'all amass such wealth in a short period in Nigeria yet you're still working hard to leave? Don't say security please because no place in the world is safe. I can't have 20M and be begging one officer to accept me go his country! God forbid |

Of course, a good number of those traveling abroad are well to do, but it's not always about money. Except we're deceiving ourselves, Nigeria don cast. So, even if you're doing well presently, things can turnaround quickly. Besides, the future of your children is not guaranteed here. Most Nigerians travel out not for themselves, but for their descendants. |

May15548:Hello, My study permit was refused on the ground “ Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).” Please how do I tackle this. |

PatrickOkunima:Great response, leaving Nigeria has a lot to do with people wanting to live in a sane environment. People want to give the right education to their children, have the simpke amenities Nigeria failed to provide. Why should a Nigerian struggle to get water to bath and not been able to iron his or her clothes. Leaves home for work on a bad road. That's just to mention a few. A lot in our lives here are not right but we still swallow the BS daily. Many if my people out there can't even boast of having all those frivolities here but they find peace in what they do and how they live. |

blackmaryjane6:Hello, You will have to get your GCMS note to have a full picture of the refusal reasons. What you have on your note is generic. But you may do well to furnish the forum your POF, home ties and establishment capacity for better understanding. That's amount shown, any unexplained lumpsum, tuition expenses, home ties shown and level of establishments in Nigeria. |

Congrats to you and your family, Ketima. And God bless you for this breakdown. The folks at the SOWP thread don't usually post this breakdown. Now I can start preparing for my wife's and daughter's application before landing. Ketima: |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ketima: 10:47am On Jun 16, 2022 |
simplysam007:Hello Simply, Sorry for your refusal and that of your spouse. Is just a delay. First, I would say the VO spotted series of inconsistencies in your application as regards your purpose of visit and that of your wife. So you will need to revisit tour purpose of visit, align it to your academic and or career goals, future prospect's. Also help the VO to understand why you're going for the course and the school. As for your spouse, you need to be diplomatic. Also, even if you're applying for working permit for your spouse, don't let your purpose of visit be about work work work. Because it may counter your ow purpose of visit and your promises to coke back after studying. As for your finances, it seems your POF isn't sufficient. So you need to work on it and be rest assured that PPR is waiting for you. But first, you need to get your note to have a clearer view of the VO's comment. All the best. |
