Might have to try them again.

I found agege bread though grin
I think the woman and her husband are Yoruba cos they were speaking Yoruba. And they laughed at how I said agege bread. Oh well..
You lucky to get green dried leaves. The few African stores I know have their leaves dark except Southwest Farmers.

I’ve had sugar and salt in my grits. Definitely prefer sugar because it’s gives me cream of wheat vibes.

But cheese? I don’t know if I will like it texture wise.

@ loveymom see outfit I found for you in the African store
Sis, this is beautiful. I love it already, tell me that you bought it !

It looks good sitting in the glass jar on the tea table. I don’t even use sugar cubes.

I didn’t.

She said they’ll bring more in different fabrics soon.
Maybe I’ll see something else I might prefer then.

Had a couple of fabric outfits and purses like this that I never used so I wasn’t moved to buy another one immediately

Although I know you don’t have to season it a lot. Just salt and dry fish and some palm oil,

I’ve never tried it without anything before. I’m very curious now.

I went to the African store after your post the other day and they were out of yam. Abomination!!
Hahahaaa cheesy cheesy
Yam is scarce now. If you see one, it spoils quickly.
I packed and froze them 2 months ago. That's my saviour else I will be screaming like you cheesy
You can check another shop. What I normally do is tell my customer the things I need and when I will come. I shop like 3 times in a year and freeze all that need freezing. I hate shopping. Gives me headache.

Doesn't frozen soup lose taste after sometime? Do you fetch and microwave when you want to it or you need to thaw everything first?

Okro soup... How far na?

Re: Cook In Your Kitchen, Take Pictures And Post It Here. SIMPLE! by untamedd(f): 2:13pm On Jun 16, 2022
I wanted to make some snacks this morning so I brought out my flour which I’ve had for a while. Turned out it’s expired. It’s sealed, never opened.
It’s doing me somehow to throw it away.

I googled and saw something about flour never expires, it’s just best before that date. How true is this please?

When your flour is bad, it will not rise when raising agent is added to it.
It'll also have some kind of unpleasant taste when you use it to make anything.
Those are some of the ways you can tell your flour is bad.

Trash it - February is long time ago with flour. If you choose to use it, you would have wasted other ingredients if it doesn't rise. And if that funny taste is ok and manageable to you, the other person might taste the difference.
