Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, has started that he had not issued any statement to Fr. Ejike Mbaka outburst on him.

Obi in a statement by his Media Adviser Mr. Valentine Obienyem, said he has not made any statement on Mbaka attack on him.

“Our attention have been drawn to a statement credited to Mr. Peter Obi as his reply to Fr. Ejike Mbaka. We wish to state for the record that Mr. Peter Obi did not and is not planning to issue any reply.

“We advise that any medium trying to publish such an unsigned letter should clarify its authenticity from Mr. Obi’s Media Office” he said.

Mbaka had said former Vice President Abubakar Atiku had shown that he is ready to run for the highest office in the land because he and Obi are no longer on a joint ticket.

“Peter Obi has a mouthful, he has nowhere to go unless he kneels down on the Adoration altar.”

He accused the presidential candidate of the Labour Party of insulting the holy spirit.

Mbaka claimed that he helped Obi return to the governorship seat in Anambra State, “but he did not come to thank God”.

“Who doesn’t spend his money eating what you want to support? Do you want people to starve? If he becomes president, he will close our ministry. If Igbo people are looking for a representative in Nigeria, not the kind of person Peter Obi is.”

“Whoever refuses to donate to the church should be the president?”

Hours after the news went viral, a statement went into circulation that Obi had replied him.

Mbaka that campaigned for Buhari and said Buhari was God sent? Lol. Since the inception of democracy in 1999, Buhari is the worst president we've had.

Anyone that watched the APC presidential primaries and saw how clueless Buhari was looking up and down, you wouldn't be surprised why Nigeria has been in a sorry state for the past 7 years.

Nobody takes Mbaka seriously. Obi shouldn't even reply him.

This guy can not win, but will do enough damage to Atiku votes in the South.

SE/SS has always been PDP stronghold, but now the votes from there will be share by Obi and Atiku, giving Tinubu an edge.


SW is locked for Tinubu 100%, Seyi will fall in line when it is time and even now that his friend Wike has been denied vice president ticket.

The north will be shared by Tinubu, Atiku and kwankwaso, but APC has 11 sitting governors in the North, and states like Borno even in Atiku zone are perpetual APC voters.


Tinubu should just go and write his inaugural speech.

The vocal prelate of the Catholic Dioceses of Enugu, Reverend Fr. Ejike Mbaka has revealed who he will not be supporting for the 2023 Presidential elections.

Reverend Father stated during a crusade that Peter Obi of the Labour party will not succeed to the number one position in the country owing to his stingy nature

In a viral video on Wednesday, the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministries said, “A stingy man cannot be our president.

“We are already hungry. We need a generous person. Nigerians are hungry. Are we not hungry?”

According to him, Nigeria will be in a better position with Atiku taking the helm of affairs rather than the one-time governor of Anambra state.

“It is now that Atiku is seriously contesting for President; now that he is contesting without Peter Obi; it is now that he is serious? We want somebody that is serious.

Mbaka further added that Obi had insulted the Holy Spirit, saying that Obi needed the forgiveness of God to attain presidency

“Unless Peter comes here to kneel, if he becomes President, he will close down this ministry. What we are doing is spiritual.”

“If Igbo people are looking for a representative in Nigeria, they are not the kind of person Peter Obi is. Whoever refuses to donate to the church should not be the president”

The statement has sparked some reactions on social media platforms with many speculating that Mbaka’scommnets were courtesy of his inability to secure monetary donations for his parish.

Father Mbaka has been attacking Obi since he invited him to adoration ministry and obi refused to pledge. Where is pledging compulsory. Is it not childish for Mbaka to keep calling obi stingy, since 2019 that he was a running mate to Atiku?

Leave Mbaka. Truth is that obi is not desperate and if Mbaka wants to use the gift that God has given him to temper with God's plan for obi, God will not let it happen.
