In as much as we are programmed to peg everything concerning the military to the cool military hardware, let's not forget that in veitnam the US committed almost all it's firepower save for nuclear power and still lost.

Good you admit it cheesy and for the record we have more than six or at least nobody knows how many, but quality over quantity you word grin

As long as it suit the threat we face now is better
- We actually do know how many... And it's just 6.

- that literally not an answer.. Again, how can it be better than an AH that carries the same ordinance?... Fact is it can't be better, you bought it because they are cheap.

- actually you don't have more SPHs... Might want to re chech you research my bru wink

- OK ill spoon feed you SA Coast line 2800km Nigeria coast line 850km

- SAS Protea has won International awards for her hydrographic surveys.... She might be old but she is certainly not inferior to NN Lana which is a small multi purpose boat with some hydrographic survey capability.

- are you saying the Nigerian Government is delusional? Because I was quoting them wrt your defense budget.

- our Lst is at the same place as your Frigates, Subs, TDL, air defence system, spy satellite, Motorised ATGM ect ect ect.

- without shifting the goalpost, show us your air defence system

- we have f22s... But its classified grin grin.... Don't talk kak bru!!!

- just saying "it's better" doesn't make it better.... We have also have several man portable, as well as Drone ATGMs however we know you need a full spectrum of ATMGs hence we have the Ratel Zt3

- I Know... That's why most operators retired the tin shield decades ago.

- OK let me rephrase then, what blue force tracker is in operation with Nigeria?

SA Military Academy team flies the flag high at international cyber strategy challenge

"The South African team, entered as the Cyber Soldiers, was one of four African teams selected. Major Engela Meintijies, Academy communication officer, reports the Saffer cyber soldiers were a surprise package, progressing to the semi-finals and being the last African team standing."

“Their achievement saw them beat experienced teams and finished as the best placed military team,” she said noting it was “a considerable achievement for a first-time team and coach”.

The Geneva Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge is a respected international competition designed to provide senior university students with a deeper understanding of the strategic and policy challenges associated with escalating cyber incidents and potential cyber conflict. The Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and the Atlantic Council host the event.

During the Soviet era the communists took in students from all over the world and educated them for free. This is why Russia currently has a lot of international support. But in a generation it won't last because they don't do it anymore.

China currently has such a program and it will pay off for the big-time in a few decades. They play the long game in geopolitics

- From actual trade registers mate..Nigeria only bought 6 VT4s

- This is a well funded military? see pic

- I never said the Tucano are bad... In fact they are very good however they are not as good as a AH... Also you there is no definitive contract yet wrt the AH1Zs... However additional Mi35M would have been better suited.

- The SA army has 64 SPH and Nigeria has 30

- I said we patrol more water fool... You said we dont.

- how many international awards has NN Lana won? Besides the fact that she is a small multi purpose ship where as SAS Protea is a dedicated hydrographic survey ship and with ice breaking capability

- I couldn't care less what you told me... I look at the actual facts as in your government budget.

- When you don't have an answer you resort to pathetic, irrelevant insults grin

- SA7(obsolete), GDF002(old and obsolete hence why SA only operate 005 and 007 models ), type 90(GDF002 copy), bofors(WW2 era), Shilka(very old, obsolete), Roland (I actually think Nigeria disposed of there Roland missiles because they were so old), F7/Mig21(I'm not talking about aircraft)
