Yes I’m really concerned. I did the application for my brother and I’m just really angry at myself for not checking properly before making the payment.

Maybe I can share, I have cancelled my mum's visit visa once because of an error. This was cancelled before her biometrics in the US. I got refunded a week after.

Hi folks, I have an issue and need your advice. We (my wife and I) paid for IHS and Visa fees a week ago and booked appointment for Biometrics. I used Gtbank Visa Dollar card to make payment and it was successful, I received debit alerts.

After a week I checked my bank account and noticed all the money used to pay for the Visa fees is now back in the account (I can see the total sum in the available balance).

It seems the payment has been reversed and I'm afraid that this might affect the Visa application and processing.

My wife has already done her Biometrics while mine is for next week. She's the main applicant while I'm the dependant.

Do you think this payment reversal might aftect the Visa process and if I'm to escalate it which of the parties should I reach out to, is it Tlscontact or the UK immigration?

Please what's the way forward.

Will this shuttling to and fro be an issue in case they are applying for the post study visa when the MA graduates.

I(main applicant) received collection mail yesterday but dependant is yet to receive, so yesterday dependant sent a paid mail and today we received “decision has been made” but in the last 2 paragraphs they wrote something which we don’t understand;

“Please note the information given to you on the progress of an
application is dependent on the details you provide, and we
can only provide the progress updates based on the application
reference number given.
We do not have access to specific case information and so
progress updates could be subject to change. Please wait for
formal contact or a decision letter before taking any further
steps.”

Note that earlier this week(Monday) dependant received nsf asking for pof which we sent on following day.

The rest is generic basically saying they can't give further details since it is a paid mail (i.e whether it is approved or refused and/or when you will receive an update on your passport being ready).They have access to limited information

It should end well, and you hopefully will get an update on passport collection with a visa vignette

The lesser your tuition deposit..the more the pressure on you in the UK....especially when you are just one person with 20hrs perweek worth of legal hustle
