Aribo played in that game because Rangers had no available striker not because he plays better as a striker, you guys don't get that

And that was a revelation.

The European transfer season is yet to kick into top gear fully, but Nigerian players are already in the thick of the action

Super Eagles attacker Peter Olayinka could be on the verge of sealing a summer move to Saudi Arabia or Turkey if reports from that European country are anything to go by.

Olayinka’s representative William D’avila has offered some striking statements regarding the transfer status of the Nigerian forward.

Having been on the payroll of Czech Republic club Slavia Prague since 2018, Olayinka is keen on experiencing a new country and football culture.

And William D’avila has revealed that a couple of Turkish clubs and a Saudi Arabian side have made concrete offers to secure the services of the 26-year-old.

The final decision, however, rests with Olayinka: accept the temptingly lucrative offer from Asia or stay in Europe and conquer the Turkish Super Lig.

“I am in talks with two Turkish clubs for Peter Olayinka,” William D’avila said, as per the Turkish media.

“We also received a very serious offer from Saudi Arabia. But Olayinka wants to play in a club in the Super League.

“Our negotiations with the two Turkish clubs are going very well. The player will decide.

“They offered very good money from Saudi Arabia. We will see if he will prefer a well-organized club in the league.”

Turkish giants Besiktas are reportedly one of the teams looking to sign Olayinka from Slavia Prague.

Olayinka scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 40 matches for the Slavists during the recently concluded season.

His contract with the Czech side will not expire until the summer of 2023.

Man city also had a quadruple dream but blew everything up and had to wait for a late goal at home against almighty Aston Villa to win something... So much for having the best team in the world..

Na una Dey rant all over internet about the quadruple dream and not even mancity

And should I remind you about origi 95 minutes goal against world class wolves grin

Arrived strictly on invitation by the Chairman of Kwara Utd (Kumbi Titiloye) who was in Morocco to watch the Super Eagles live.

All expenses paid by him.

So I don't think Peseiro will be doing this on a regular.

Why sad? Interesting comments from Oliseh about Yekini and his runs. Said Rashidi timed his runs such that he was rarely offside. Fact is that Rashidi was already well honed as an attacker. I believe with time, Osimhen will polish his game.

It just depicts how the Nigerian society allows the light to dim and the darkness to shine. We let the tail to wag the dog.
We don't like being accountable, responsible and doing the right thing, everything is up for sale to the highest bidder.
From the oliseh and corroborating stories from Emmanuel, he was a man from his early playing days wanted to bring out the best in people...but the system is so warped that you will ultimately fail except you contort yourself to their wily ways until you can no longer recognize yourself

Thank you thank you for this. Really great podcast. Reveals so much about Oliseh and the way he is. Not a perfect man but you can say even if you didn't agree with him that any decision he took good or bad was for the best of Nigeria.

Hope our current team is watching this to learn how to keep each accountable not every time kumbaya and snapping picture especially if it will affect your performance.

How Oliseh appears and talks calmly and still have so much craze is astonishing!!!!! Highly cerebral guy and from the interview, Sunny no just like Mikel Obi period grin grin. Also he did field some of his boys too when he was coach, like of Sly Igbonu and sime other guys who slipped into oblivion.

I think it is safe to say Ghana is out and Nigeria better be well prepared.

What is “so good” about those grandkids from Burkina Faso? grin Oh Africa! I had goose pimples seeing those cheats calling these selves under 17.

I understand the Nigerian players in the Under 17 team play in the Nigerian premier league. If this is true, then it is unfortunate! Very unfortunate indeed!

I will be happy to see my country use players who are truly under 17 and lose, than use over aged players just because they want to win and be seen as “champion” grin which nonsense champion is that? cool

Their dedication amidst the unpalatable circumstances at the time was unshakable.

Mad comments by Oliseh and Emma about Taribo and his desire to win.

All these tears because you have been found out? Since the invention of the MRI machine, have you noticed that Ghana youth system has amounted to nothing? Can you name any set of your youth team that failed due to fielding young players and still managed to produce quality players?

MRI killed Ghana and elevated Nigeria because you guys can no longer cheat by fielding Grandpas. grin

The few times we failed to qualify, we got qualities like Alhassan, Ishaq, et al. When we did qualify, we got the Nachos, Osigoals, Chuks et al of this world.

Finally, no we don't parade league players at the U17 level, at least since the invention of the MRI, and we have been reaping the rewards by churning out young quality stars unlike Ghana.

But how come Nigeria beats Ghana in age group competitions, but the super eagles can’t beat the Black Stars? Can you explain that? grin

Chai naija grin very funny mudder fuggerx grin naija people get mouth eno be small ooh grin

If you meet Ghana again you will “destroy” them? Nigerians are like the loud mouthed bully who gets beaten. While he’s on the floor and been beaten, he keeps screaming …..”when I get up I will beat you ooh” grin hahahaha fuckeduppedness

Unfortunately for Nigerians, football is played on the field, not with mouth grin

By the way, do you remember the last time your Super Eagles beat the Mighty Black Stars? grin grin grin grin

Cocking:

Likewise me too but I've to accept the bitter truth that luck wasn't on our side during the playoffs against Ghana, they miraculously qualified ahead of the super eagles on goal aggregate (AE was the architect of our failure)
With what I've seen so far under josé peseiro, if we meet Ghana again, we go destroy dem without fear or favour of west Africa derby...
