this is a review of the laptop when it was brand new
this laptop is from 2010
the cpu is 2 core and probably second generation
it is in the same class of the thinkpad t410
it has no gpu

imho, this laptop will only be good for basic stuff. browsing nairaland or word processing
you will have a miserable time with any graphics applications, unless you are able to install legacy/older versions of photoshop or other graphics applications

the hard drive is over 10 years old and will soon fail on you. - this is guaranteed
if you want to run , not walk or crawl windows 10, you need to max out the ram to 8gb

do not be deceived by the sleek look, this is an overpriced dinosaur and you are being ripped off by a greedy hustler

if you want to buy a laptop that will not give you pain down the line, go for one that is at most five years old

Laptop is a 4gb RAM, 320gb mechanical spinning hard disk drive, 1st gen intel i5 laptop. Screen is 14.1 inches. Resolution is 1366 X 768px. It was launched in 2010.

Battery lasted 4 hours when brand new on windows 7. Two hours after 12 years is fair.

You might learn basic web programming with it. You should not plan on doing mobile apps development with it as the 4gb (8gb after upgrade ) would freeze intermittently on simulator loads.

For graphics, it would be better to get a laptop with a dedicated graphics card. This does not have. It would load but you would spend more time and heat doing basic stuffs.

Web development. HTML, CSS, Javascript then a library after some months. Load VS Code, Download Firefox Developer Edition and you are good to go.

For graphics, i would be looking at another system in 2022.

Exactly the laptop I bought 3 years ago for my sports arbitrage business, though I increased my ram to 8GB and HDD to 500GB, and windows 10 OS. I also upgraded the battery to a 2 in 1 extended battery that gave me up to 4hrs even on WiFi.

I started sports arbitrage with USD 305, but after 4 months I started cashing out USD 1000 at almost monthly basis.

But you really need to learn and work hard to master arbitrage.but me in the know sir

Good laptop, good buy. Mine is still sound and working though i notice one of the speakers is not functioning recently and you need change battery after a year or so.

Bro pls don't buy that laptop pls...its too dated...its HDD based,new gen laptops don't need DVD ROM and its only 4GB ram..leave all those upgrade ram things,this laptop will crash with ease..even backup power is just 2hrs...bro u have done well trying to get an online skill but please go to bang good,aliexpress and other cheaper Chinese platforms and u'll get very good alternatives but u go need top up small...pls u don't want to frustrate urself with that scrap...new gen HP,dell laptops r rili expensive but with these other Chinese based laptop producers (telecast,chiuwi,bmax etc) u can get more than half of (HP and dell) performance for way less price tag...they are all ssd based ,just take ur time abeg
