The below was in the response you quoted... you do the math.

i applied to renew my b1/b2 visa a about a year ago; my interview is in a few days.
i got married earlier this year (no change of name done yet) and i'm wondering what to do.
is it okay to continue with my old app or do i need to fill i new application form? if i do, will it affect my
appointment schedule? i'm really nervous but want to do the best thing without losing my appointment date.

thanks!

Whao sorry to hear about this. I can understand how disheartening this can be.

The good thing is u stand another opportunity to try again in the near future.

Though am not sure if Ur going as a student or as a visitor but from what u wrote, it seems Ur going for studies. Is this undergraduate or post graduate studies? How old are u? What's Ur cost of attendance? What's Ur sponsor's financial position/statement reading? Have u applied to the US before? How did that go?

For Ur next try, u will have to get answers to the questions u think u fell short. Reapplying immediately is a redflag. There must have been some redflag the VO saw that he didn't hesitate to cut u short.

Plan Ur next visa application carefully.

Regards

Good afternoon.

Relocating to the USA is not a bad thing as long as u do it legally and plan Ur scenarios ahead.

Again, I guess it's Ur heart's desire. That's not a crime

First off, what's Ur current situation in the UK? Are u guys/a spouse schooling or working there at the moment or on holiday? Are u planning to apply to the US from within the UK or coming back to Nigeria to apply? Are u professionals and what kinda jobs are u into in the UK (if any)

Can u get jobs in the US from the UK and use that to apply or do the companies u work for in UK (if that's the case) present u as intra-company transferee to the branch or HQ in the US thereby qualifying for L1/L2 visas?

Or do u want to travel there on a visit (B1/B2 visa) and end up staying (Japa-nese)? The doctor Ur talking to can help if he has an establishment and willing to do all the wahala/trouble of convincing DOL (Department of Labour) that in the whole US, there is no one that can do that job. If not, he can only support u emotionally and materially (cash).

So many questions needing answers.

Goodluck

I went through the threads before the interview.. I really don't know what else to do
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by DrStrangelove: 4:33pm On Jun 24, 2022
Okay. If that's the case, can u give a rundown of the interview stating school, COA, Deficit funding, course and then the visa interview transcript proper just how they do it in the thread in the link I posted. This way, we can see how things went on during the interview and pin point the issuess

That's if Ur willing to.

Thanks
