Every state must copy what is good in other states, that's the best way to grow. Ekiti sent young men to go learn trading at Onitsha and Aba, Ondo gave back some schools to the missionaries after learning from Anambra.

Nigeria as a whole should copy financial prudence from Peter Obi, Nigeria needs a sound economic manager and Peter Obi is an advanced excellent resource manager on the big scale.

We Nigerians must fight for our independence from corruption. We need to be OBIdient
Thank you. People are always quick to take glory for nothing and remember it was the same Ambode who they said was a failure just because Tinubu told them so that was there at that time.

Other states comes to study but many of the structures in the state are not really working. It's better they focus on making things work instead of just making claims.

Clown. What is the working system in Lagos
that any serious government should emulate?

Is it your water supply Or road infrastructure?

Health care? I guess he's talking about how to gazette $1.5Billion railway project which same Chinese company reported at $181 Million while using 13years to build a 27KM light rail when Ethiopia built 700KM standard guage in less than 8years at a much cheaper rate.

Lagos leads others follow..Eko is already a mega city so the government does not need to do much unlike other states, need to improve their state facilities.

When you have the only working seaport in Nigeria, the only working international airport in Nigeria (minus abuja and portharcourt),headquarters of most International companies then you will know why Lagos is the commercial hub of Nigeria and why it is the most developed city in Nigeria.
Lagos is Lagos not because of the so called leadership prowess of the iragbiji man but because of the collective effort of all Nigerians living there.
If am lying he should go to osun and ekiti and turn it to Lagos.
Don't sell your 4 years due to lies from a former drug dealer. Vote for a well managed economy and secured country in the Person of Obi peter( aka the rock)
Let the wise close their ears from tinubu touts that have taken over Nairaland. Those set of humans are brain dead and are earning a living from what they do for the old drug dealer.

And all this is as a result of it being a former capital of Nigeria, not because of the drug baron

Lagos was the capital of Nigeria for 77 years.... going as far back as before Nigeria even gained her independence, with a lot of federal allocation within that time frame. A lot of companies also situated their headquarters there and refused to relocate after the capital was moved to Abuja, so it is only logical other states comes to learn about it.

Below are old photos from lagos in the 60s/70s.
Well said.
Some comments you see in this forum shows lots of the younger folks don't know Lagos existed before 1999.

When did Lagos become a federal territory?
When Southern and Northern Nigeria were amalgamated in 1914, Lagos was made the capital of the Colony and Protectorate of Nigeria. In 1954 most of the hinterland was incorporated into the region of Western Nigeria, while the city itself was designated as federal territory.
