Note: Eligibility did not start on the portal till PPR dropped.
I pray that everyone still waiting will receive their good news soon in Jesus name.

Does anyone here have this same issue? My husbands vistor's visa application is showing that they have not received his biometrics but on the same page, it shows his biometrics information.

March 16th 2021 that was when I did my Biometrics and I still dey wait and nothing yet ....I just saw here that someone has been waiting since December 2020 haaaaaaa....2020...Omo and I dey complain for 2021....God forgive me...I would wait my turn....do it for me as you are doing it for others here....amen....I would come here and testify too

Dont worry they will attend to it between now and next month. Got a credible info that applications submitted early last year stroke mid last year has been given a brought forward date for it ti be reviewed. Still hoping and trusting my spouse application as well as that of my kids is approved too.

You can first pack each of them separately in different envelopes, then everything together into one big envelope.

I sent mine on Friday too... DHL delivered it on Monday, but no update till now.
Someone said I should fill some things on vfs site to get updates, but I didn't see anything of such. Did you fill any separate form to get updates?

My kids just got their study permits approved, but I made the mistake of sending the two passports in one single envelope and paid only one transmission fee. I noticed I haven't got any email update from DHL. How do I remedy the situation?

Same thing here, the passport was delivered to vfs on Monday. I was expecting them to send updates through mail as usual, but we have not seen any. Only the update from dhl that the passport was delivered to them.
So I mail them through info.cannig@vfshelpline.com and they responded the next day with a tracking ID.
So it's the ID I have been using to follow up on it.

The only problem there is the second transmission fee you didn't pay.
When vfs checks and sees that the payment is incomplete, they send it back without working on it.

Can I quickly go back to DHL and pay the second transmission fee, instead of waiting for them to return the passports unattended to? I intend to either go to DHL and pay the remainder, or visit VFS to enquire about how to remedy the situation. Which option do you advise?

This journey has been stressful and depressing but I’m glad it ended beautifully.
I started my PhD in September 2020 but did online till May 2021 (so I moved in May of 2021).
I got married to my husband in august 2021 because I wanted to bring him to Canada immediately.
We immediately started putting our documents together.
Keep in mind he has no travel history and just got his passport in august of 2021

Tenancy agreement with me and my husband name. An apartment we rented since 2019.
Proof of back and forth flights from US to Nigeria since I started dating my husband (I lived in the US for 8 years before moving back to Nigeria in 2020 due to covid).
Airbnb receipts for places we rented together whenever I was in Nigeria

APPLICANT proof of home ties
Landed properties in my husbands name
CAC documents of my husbands company
CAC documents of his parents company where he is a director
Letter explaining why he does not have travel history.

While waiting for his SOWP file, we applied for visitor visa in December 2021 and it was rejected.

I am soo happy because this means we can start planning for the future.

Please I have a question. My husband has gotten admission for a masters in Canada for January 2023. Has anyone switched from a work permit to a study permit when they enter Canada? Did they encounter any issues?
