Pls which should I choose. When I picked yes it asked for my wife details and it won't go because her International passport is not ready which mean no passport number to fill.

Train is expensive in UK. You can use bus from London to Coventry. You can try if you will get London city airport. If not use Heathrow.

Uber is saying £150 pounds here now. isn't that worst or more expensive than the train?

Hello guys, I don't mean to discourage anyone here but came across this comment on a Reddit thread and thought I should get thoughts of those currently studying in UK

If she really wishes to study then don't come to the UK. The University's that are not in the Russel group are just to give an economic boost to the country and nothing else. Education sector is a very huge source of income to the country, both the fees and visa fees justifies this. Most of the University programs are not accredited and the teaching is horrible. During your studies you would find getting a job in UK is a bit difficult, unless you are interested in working in care homes. After your studies, the chances of getting a job are minimal unless you have previous experience in the field. (If you do have previous experience in the field, you might really be able to say whether the course is terrible or not). Then there is PSW, post study work permit, the chances for your PSW application getting rejected is extremely high considering the current state, this had happened a few years before and many students were forced to leave the country as there were a lot many candidates than the country could accommodate. You cannot stay in the country without a PSW unless you have been sponsored to work by some company, which would be highly unlikely. I am not sure about this but I have also heard that your time in UK under PSW will not be considered for Residency.

Then there are other issues with the living conditions, say you have rented out an apartment. Utility providers like gas, electricity and water is definitely going to eat you up with their direct debit and stuff like that. People don't come to collect your readings, they setup an estimated reading, which could usually be way off the charts, your attempt to submit actual readings might possibly go in vain. Health care sector is overloaded, if under chances you wanted to visit your GP, you can't, standard waiting time for emergency services is over five hours. You can't get a discounted bus card if you are above a certain age.

The common people here are pretty nice to you, or at least the ones whom you might meet during your studies. However, people in higher posts, might treat you different, you might get a hint of this if you approach the University dean with a complaint. Then comes the visa conditions, it must be ensured that you follow the visa conditions strictly, else you will be deported without any considerations, particularly if your fees had been paid in full. You shouldn't exceed your weekly working hours, and even if you excel in your studies, not meeting visa conditions is the easiest way to get kicked out. If you are looking forward to work, enjoying your time without a gun to your head, possibly settle down in a new country and has never been lucky your entire life, I wouldn't suggest the UK

you are a 1st timer in the UK.. use national express bus/coach from airport terminal to your city. Avoid train with all your luggage and not been used to the system is a hassle. Book the bus ticket on national express website or when you land at the airport.

Makes more sense now cos all the panic this 28 and 31 days thing de cause eh. Watched a university's video on this and they stated same as you did.. Thanks buddy kiss

AlphaUno:

You can use a 60 day POF but officially it’s 28 days minimum. If your POF has been available since April,
- Print it and use b4 d 31 days elapse
- don’t print but keep running d account till your other docs or CAS is/are ready and then print

I ve used 35, 43, 58 days statements b4. Using those longer days put your mind at rest but if raba no too dey, try 28 days in peace but make sure you use the print out b4 31 days after printing.
The point is, print your statement as many times as possible unless of course you run am and those folks tell you that you ll pay to print

Congratulations!

Pls concerning your traveling history do you have any residence card of those country and attached it to your application?

I actually forgot to add the Entry stamp pages on my passport. It was an old passport and I also forgot to attach it. But with your passport number, your US travel history can be tracked down to all the airports you passed through and dates with time of arrival and departure. So I banked on that.

The person that wrote this has never lived in the UK or failed to achieve anything here then blame everything else apart from him/herself.

Don't choose Naira option

Choose the currency of your school

I don't understand again. This flywire rate is same as black market.

All I did was call customer service after my form got to disbursement stage.

First, I wrote them stating my deadline and the urgency of processing my payment.
They gave me a call back and introduced the I&E option asking if I was interested.
Seeing that the rate is almost same with CBN rate, I asked that they go ahead.
Then I continued following them up with calls.
That's all I did

How do I use the I&E Fx option pls? Mind if I mail you?

Nice one - so they will sell to you at a higher rate what was meant for Investors & Exports then replace with what CBN allocated for your fees originally and sell that again at the I&E rate. Nigerian banks are deliberately causing the delays it seem angry

hello everyone,

For someone who wants to transition into data analytics. What universities with low tuition fees would you recommend.

Check University of Northampton. Tuition was £13,500 earlier this year

Hello. I used dollar ($) card for my IHS and Visa fees and it was successful. I used UBA $ Card but I'd advise you try GTB, I think they're much more reliable with online transactions.

how much was the charges converted to Naira pls?

All banks offer the I&E window but you could end up being blacklisted by CBN if found that you misapplied funds meant for Investors & Exports to pay your fees. The bank would deny you, your choice though

I have done that. Now, I need to do the following:

Complete my bank transfer outside of Flywire’s platform via online banking, telephone transfer or by visiting your local bank branch in person.

Does CBN rate apply here?
