gaeul: Some Infinix, Tecno brands that are using 3G , 3.5G network won't work. The likes of 4G, 4G LTE network infinix, Tecno phones has a chance of working, but incase it doesn't work, prepare your mind to get a new phone with 5G Network e.g Samsung, Iphone |

matthew080: Truth is FORM A takes time because of dollar availability issues, some lower tier banks may process faster cos they have lesser number of customers compared to tier 1 banks, however, that is not a guarantee because it still depends on dollar availability. If you are making a tuition deposit, i will advise you visit your bank asap and inquire about other means of transfer other than FORM A (mind you it may be more expensive) If you are making full payment, you can either wait for the FORM A to be processed, visit your bank for other means, open an account with a lower tier bank and use their form A or look for someone with a dollar account, change dollar with mallam and fund their account so they can help you make the payment. (Mallam rate is about N600/$1 if I'm not mistaken) |

superdoll: An affidavit for sponsorship would suffice, however, you can ditch that and simply notarize your signed letter of sponsorship |

bbwollex:Normally, a letter of sponsorship will be accompanied by an affidavit. Affidavit has been notarized for you to call it an affidavit, hence, no need for notarizing letter of sponsorship separate from affidavit. The court will stamp both documents when notarizing the affidavit. 1 Like |

Hello Nairalanders, Kindly help a brother. An agent told me that I must book a return ticket as a first-time traveler. He said I might have challenges at the POE if I buy a one-way ticket. How true is this, please? If you have any contributions to this, kindly help, please. Thank you 1 Like |

Bella25: Just leave it for some hours. it will revert to normal on it own. This normally happens when there is network failure at the point submission. |

The only way out is to submit an updated Statement of account (SOA) ASAP......that will clear all doubt.Visiting or engaging the bank will not make them rewrite Thier response to IRCC.. QED CharitoJames: 1 Like |

Please someone should please reply at least one of my questions Please my husband has an already existing account which he uses for little transactions, and it's the same account he plans to use for my POF, the account hasn't had upto a million naira in it in the past 3 months, if by end of this month the POF is complete can we use it and apply for the study permit or we have to wait for the account to hold huge amount for at least 3 months before applying? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Trailblazer21: 7:27pm On Jun 24, 2022 |
JoanChinaza: If your husband can provide PROPER DOCUMENTATION of the lump sum that entered his account to complete the POF then you can apply without waiting for 3 months. N/B: 1)I’m assuming your husband is expecting a huge sum of money in the account by end of this month 2) it is always advisable to have more than the required POF in your account. 2 Likes |

Hello Seyi 1. This can be determined by IRCC. But of recent, there has been speedy responses from IRCC on study permit applications, final decisions coming withing a month or 2. If that remains, then hopefully you should get a Final response before your resumption dates. But I will give you a little advise, once you see you have a medical request, start preparing for your departure just in case your Visa drops few weeks to your resumption, to avoid late preparation. 2. You must put an end date, probably the date before you submit your application... Peace Seyicar: 1 Like |

Joedave25: Thanks because someone said they could have assumed it’s fraudulent because bank hasn’t responded yet to them... the account is 8years old since 2014. So I think bank certificate will also do |

Guru pls help me out. I got a medical request which I passed and everything looks fine on my gcms note. Eligibility passed, criminality passed and info sharing complete. My LOA needs to be updated but intentionally waited for IRCC cos I know they will ask for it at due time. I got a correspondence letter of biometric validity since yesterday afternoon with no request for updated LOA. Is it normal for correspondence letter to come before request for updated LOA or... Am confused and still no ppr. I beg make una help me 1 Like |

Well done boss, in this place "If you see that 1 year PGWP is not going to be enough for you to qualify for PR, ensure you enroll in another one-year course immediately after the first one", I have a question. How can I tell if the one year will not be enough immediately after I finished that 1 year course? ShowYoung: |
