In addition 73O9, you can use paypal to get cheaper rates but it's damn risky.
Payoneer is cool and you can never be wrong with a crypto wallet.
For PeeTeeHay, I can help you.

PayPal is dammmnnnn risky, those guys are hungry.

What is the money for? Educational purposes? Health? Upkeep for a child in school? You'll obtain a form A and give to your bank of choice to approve. The bank will initiate the transfer from your account to the recipient

If it's for buying a car or a personal expense, its not possible except you collect PTA with a limit of 4000 dollars per quarter and cancel the fight.

Note that this is not legal and if you're caught, you're on your own

I want to make a payment.

It's only black market that is available which I will need 1.5~m to settle but far lesser if I get the official rate 1~m.
So I wanted to check if I can send to someone using official rate since I can't make directly from this trenches.
PTA is out of it as visa will be required.

Small poke nosing, don't tell me you use black market rates to buy your cars?

Payoneer is quite cool. The limitations are you need to have been funded with about $2000 from a source before you can use the MAP function as a sender.

The receiver on the other hand has 3 options:

1. If fund is up to 2k then he can send to another exchanger and be credited in local bank or cash
2. Direct deposit to bank
3. Order for card and wait about 3 weeks to arrive or alternatively pay for shipping and get it in 48 hours then withdraw funds from local atm.

Payoneer rate at the moment is about 565 while paypal is around 490.
PTA 420 or so while normal bank deposit is 600+

Do you mind sharing the details of what led to the altercation that degenerated to physical assault?

If it's payment issue, Bolt would always compensate or at least, pay 50% of the trip fare.

My friend got blocked because of similar issue like this. He went to Bolt office and was asked to come for training after which they unblocked him.

I had an issue with a rider (a guy) that we exchanged words. You will not believe that the guy reported me that I threatened to deal with him if not that we were in his estate.

Bolt contacted me and I explained to them what happened. Funny enough, the trip that that incident happened was an offline trip. Yes! I took the rider to his destination and we agreed offline to take him back and I'm to wait for 20 minutes. 20 minutes later turned 55 minutes. I asked the nigga to add money for the extra time but he resorted to calling me greedy of which I fired back at him and we were abusing each other.

These riders will push you but don't fall too hard for their trap. Bolt can easily forgive you of any other offense but anything involves going physical with the rider, they take it very seriously.

I once did a trip online and it was card trip from sangotedo to egbeda bus stop, it was during the partial lockdown which starts by 7pm so bolt herbernate by that time so the rider couldn't update her destination since it was a 3rd party ride and her actual destination was after igando.

It was a very confusing situation because I myself had to go back home before curfew starts. No bus for this girl to get to igando so she begged to add physical cash to the trip which I charged her 2k for and she asked me not to end the trip. I couldn't even end the trip self because then bolts app you can't end trip if you've driven far away or have not gotten to the destination.

So after dropping her I ended the trip on my way back home after getting back to egbeda bus stop.

3days after bolt suspended my account. And when I contacted them they said I collected cash on a card trip.

If you see how I change am for them enhw!!! Blow lie join the matter and left them with confusing questions and anstweryto deal with the correspondent couldn't see any where to nail me na so she unblocked my account

While you are at it, think of other things to do aside this business. There are too many things, way too many scenarios that can knock your hustle in the business. Ordinary phone issues can prevent you from earning for a damn week or more.

I can't judge or blame you for what happened. It was an unfortunate incident. Korope drivers that make 30k daily in this Ajah fight with their passengers even with police and Agberos, they still bounce back to the road the next day. It's the useless business of Uber/Bolt and the way it's modeled, making you look like a slave to the system. Anyone hits you first, slap his or her face, anyone bites you first, bite off her ears. Highest na court since you have evidence of self defense. Case closed.

Thank you boss!
I can take verbal insults but not physical assault. Anybody that hits me I'll return it to the person no matter the age difference after all you're just a bleeping rider for heaven sake.

So I commend that young man's approach

But we go dey alright las las. cool

Much respect, bosses. smiley

Notice to all drivers.

This is not the time to take trip to the following area:

Magodo shangisha and it's environs like Olowora, unilag estate etc, Opic estate, mowe, redeem, River valley estate from magodo axis.

The reason is this, the construction work going on along the Berger to Toll gate /7up bus stop is causing serious traffic in that axis.

I'd a funny experience last week after dropping a rider on indriver at Berger bus stop I got another going to somewhere around shrine for 1.950 same time I also got another trip request to Grammer school inside on Bolt. The indriver guy called in and I asked him to wait me at Hmm... What the name of that filling station b4 the pedestrian bridge again self... I was still on call with the guy when the bolt rider called in so since I'd concluded with the guy I accepted the incoming call.

A lady was calling, she requested for her mother who I supposed was going for omugwo... She begged me to pls pick her up because she has been trying for long.

Same thing the young man also said too so now im confused on whom to pickup because the age woman can't even make a request. Maybe the young man can wait and I've already arrived on indriver and have left the position since I was already driving to PU pope191 and Readadream alas others can relate right?

Okay I told the both of them to wait me at the same place. You won't believe it that it took me 46minute to get to that filling station that night how I knew was because I arrived on bolt because I was hoping on cancelling b4 the lady called.

Haa! Me I carried all of them o (4riders) the age woman, the young man with his 2 young sisters. Dropped the mama first then went to drop the young champs na so I take close work.

May I know the best way to send money overseas using the official rate?

Na black market people use .. The official rate is very hard to get . even if you are using it for the rite things....

For now naija economy, government , people, etc na cruise control.......

Can you imagine the increase on duty on cars .. Duty that u pay 500k is like 1m plus now ..

And the government is looking for ways to increase revenues .. And the Naira is at a high time devaluation

So forgot dollar matter through official means.. It will lead to frustrations

Just forget that money and move in because she won't send it even if everybody calls her one person's voice will make her change her mind.

Next time when you're half way gone ask rider if they're making tf of paying cash, tell them to do the transfer now so that you would've seen the alert b4 DO if their body language would tell you then insist to see your alert b4 they leave then see how they quickly transfer to you.
