Samuel Edozie Set To Sign For Bayer

Why?

We are losing Romeo Lavia and Simon Edozie in one window.

This is too painful.

Respect to Rohr though, in the early times of his days as coach he did well
Finally home based players can make the cut if they are good enough

Any chance you guys get, you try to disrespect Rohr when his replacement hasn’t achieved anything close to him

It should count but the major stats systems don't count it. E.g. Stats Perform's Opta

In Fantasy Premier league and almost all fantasy play systems (also referenced most times by likes of Transfermrkt), rebound shots that lead to goals are counted as assists. Even Goals scored via PK won by a player or FK won by a player are counted as assists in fantasy systems so to rule out mixing things up, I stuck to the traditional for the U17s.

So if Emmanuel Michael has 2 assists if I add the rebound assist then Iyede also has one. But traditionally, Michael has one and Iyede, Zero.

In all, it depends on if I wanted to mix the two systems or just stick to the traditional.

Hope you get me. wink

Yeah. I trust if the lad is Grade 3 or Grade 4 MRI-cleared then we won't have that problem. It is lads who are grades 5 and 6 now that bring worry.

Btw really great move for our boy Taiwo Awoniyi, really hoping he shines in the EPL. Also Osimehn is definitely not going to Arsenal as I think Gabriel J's transfer to Arsenal is done deal.
Osimhen can only leave Napoli if he has a year left on his contract and Napoli will have no choice but to sell cheap, or a club is desperate enough to pay top money for him, aside that Laurentis no go ever sell am

Historically, we going for La Duodecima. But since 98, it's La Decima since that's what most media houses are parading.

History still stands that we have 11 overall. But ofcos, whichever it is anyone wanna go with... "Decima" dey inside.

The super falcons training at Abuja is being done at the MKO Abiola Stadium training pitch and not the main bowl....Makes me wonder why the super eagles don't make use of it too rather than the main bowl.. The regular training session they have inside the main bowl pitch is part of why the pitch deteriorates before match day.... NFF should look into it...

The match Peseiro attended. Akwa United vs Plateau United.

Some good football from both sides I guess the coach being there did the trick

No sir, I didn't send you home sir. You think it's offensive you or I calling Dad a guy right? But you want me to accept being called a guy from someone else? The same way you feel offended about your Dad is the same way my son felt offended about me too. The person I responded to did not even feel offended cos there was nothing offensive in my initial post. I don't understand why you needed to attack me. Sure Gabriel J will suit Arsenal better. That's the kind of deal ManUnited should be making. Watch out for Arsenal and Gabriel J.

He's one of the players I don't rate, because from his style of play, I don't understand why he scores so many goals.

However, the most important reason why Forest went for Awoniyi ahead of a cheaper Dessers and a proven Dennis (both on their hitlist) is that they wanted a player who would suit Steve Cooper's strategy: two-man attack.
So with no change of system, he should do well.

Also Forest had a fan favourite in Keinan Davis, who is almost a carbon copy of Taiwo Awoniyi in playing style. Awo just far better finishing and chance creation.
Another reason he should do well.

Again, Forest are PL relegation favourites and had one of the weakest teams in Championship top 7, so Awoniyi will be working with little expectations despite his record fee and should do well.

Lastly, with Cooper's attacking brand of football, I believe Awoniyi should hit 10+GA.

Guaranteed, Aribo is moving to the Premier League this summer, but Forest are not alone. Fulham, Palace are also there, Forest just offered the more salary.

For a player who played the most positions of any Nigerian (alongside Iwobi) over the last two years, I don't think he can flop anywhere.

Solace wrote something similar to your thoughts. I'm optimistic Awoniyi can get double figures this coming EPL but it won't be pretty.

Like you I agree his style is not easy on the eyes.

thanks much, they’ll surely be a relegation candidate I just hope Taiwo can get double digit goals so he wouldn’t have to go down with them

Osimhen on his face injury: That injury I had against Inter was for me like a pre- death. Only I can talk about how I was because the face and body were mine. I realized it was something manageable by the fact that I didn't need the stretcher to get out of the field, I was able to stand on my own. At the hospital I told my doctor that I would be out for a maximum of two weeks.

But then the x-rays revealed that I had multiple bone fractures. They had to remove them, fix it from the inside. I have something like 18 screws under my jaw. This injury made me go through a lot, several nights I couldn't sleep because of the pain, it was difficult even to eat. But I'm a lion, I have a strong mentality in the end and in my mind I had already planned my return to the field after the intervention.
