Omorocky:
Good evening good people of Naija, I want to ask if refusal is possible after Medical Request and Medical updated as passed with BVL .
Secondly my Agent has insisted I should not worry about the LOE expiration that she will write to the School when the PPR is out.
She resides in Canada I have had alot of arguments with her to differ the admission to September she insisted I should not worry that she will get a cover letter from the school when the PPR is out. I'm just confused. My application timeline.
Submission : 1st of December 2021
Biometrics: 3rd of December 2021
Medical Request :30th of March 2022
Medical updated as passed 21st of April 2022
BVL: 19th of May 2022
Till now no update. I have raised webforms yet no updates. Just worried and confused
What is LOE please

SOP - Statement of Purpose can also be referred to as LOE - Letter of Explanation, Letter of Intent, Study Plan

In the context of Study Visa application, LOE is most time used for addressing a refused application ( study visa re-application), just like the contents in the link below

https://www.nairaland.com/6719291/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/375#106812997

Note that the likes of LETTER OF INTENT (also know as SOP) for graduate school application e.g MSC or PHD , is different from the one you write for Study Visa Application.

please is there a difference between Graduate Certificate and Post-Graduate certificate? or they are both the same ? one can apply for any one after bsc right and the VO won't say there is no progression ?

They are the same

As a Bachelor's degree holder, yes you can apply for a Post Graduate Certificate if you have a 2.2, 3rd Class or if your work experience is related to that Post Graduate program even though the program has nothing to do with your Bachelors degree E. g a Microbiology graduate who has been working in a bank as an HR can go for a Post Graduate Certificate program in HRM (Human Resources Management) cos it is related to his/her work experience
but
if you have good grades like a minimum of 2.1 and you want to go for a Post Graduate Certificate in a college, you need to convince a VO with strong cogent reasons on your SOP why you are going for a Post Graduate Certificate Program at a college instead of a Masters.

Please, my letter of Intent was written separately from my sop. Though almost same thing, however, my letter of intent was well broader than sop. Is there something wrong if I submit both ?

Well, probably you have your reasons for writing two different letters (Letter of Intent and SOP) even though one of it (your Letter of Intent or SOP) would have been enough.

Await additional Inputs from the gurus and other members of this platform

Hello Guru's in the house, Please I've got a question that's been bothering me. Would a 10 year Gap in my Academics be a barrier? Although I've gained some working experience during this years.

You don't pay for Proof of Fund; you will show proof of funds available for your study and living expenses in your account.

Proof of Funds means "show us your fund that you really can finance your education and stay in Canada".

You are not paying this money to anyone but show it in your account. This tuition deposit is part of it because you will also show the receipt of your tuition deposit as part of your Proof of Funds to the visa officer.

10 years of study gap is not a barrier so long you can show that you have been working and are pursuing education relating to your work experience. This will show Career Progression.

It may be difficult to prove Academic Progression if you want to pursue a study relating to your prior education.

Your work experience overrides your educational qualification. Your work experience is your new reality and that is what defines you currently.
