With banking and finance degree from Nigeria, having your transcript and certificate must you do the ILETS UK exam, if you have to evaluate your certificate please what link or email do you address it to,. And how much is evaluation. Thanks

dee1504:

You need to do either of the two: Write IELTS for UKVI (General or Academic) OR Evaluate your your Bachelor's degree to serve as Certificate of English proficiency

Abeg who has been interviewed before through WhatsApp call?

This started last week Wednesday when I received a message of interview that looked like spam mail, the person told me he/she will give me a call through WhatsApp and hope I will be available, I agreed at 10am.

The day before the scheduled Friday, she sent me a message on WhatsApp that my interview is tomorrow at 10am. I became so sceptical about the interview stuff, googled to be sure I wasn't talking with a fraudster.

Well on that Friday, I missed her call twice and I refused to return it cus I was scared. I no wan sell my land to give Naija fraudster grin.

On Saturday, wrote to the number on WhatsApp and showered her with insults concerning how she wan rip me off of my lil money and that he/she will soon be caught. Her/his response was how is it my business concerning what you are passing through and she blocked me after laughing.

This Monday morning, I received a message from WhatsApp from the same contact, she wants to give me 5 minutes interview. I casually said okay, after the few minutes, I missed her calls again embarassed, she asked me to call her back. Well I did call her back and she started asking me questions while typing shocked

"What experience do you have about Care jobs, have you been vaccinated, what are your long term goals, why do you want to work in a Care home" and she was saying can you repeat what you said, I can't hear you...Well she told me she will get back to me. I applied in this care home but indeed said I was not selected by the employer and that's why I thought she was a scammer.

Had to ask her if she was the one I chatted up last week sad, I had to apologise that fraudsters no dey gree person rest and she said she understood.
Well let me keep my fingers crossed, if na fraudsters, thunder will appear. Abeg who don receive WhatsApp interview undecided

House I have a question, if one is applying for 2 different services on UK naric, I'm I suppose to open another account (like 2 different account on the website)
For e.g. I want to do a 'statement of comparability ' and also ' English proficiency ' I have started English proficiency.
I want to start comparability. It keeps telling me to create account. If I log in. It takes me back to English proficiency ,to continue application.
I'm I supposed to open another UK naric account to apply for 'comparability statement '?

You should go and thank your star and be more sensitive, interviews can be carried out via WhatsApp, and yes it can bring you here successfully all they need to hear is your response and have it recorded its not always a function of Microsoft Teams or Skype. best of luck

Just walk in and say you are for enquiry.
After then, tell them how important and urgent you need to do it that day.
Then you are on the queue but probably last position.

Congratulations!
When you say you're fully sponsored, does this cover flight tickets and visa fees?

Please can someone help me with required documents when going for biometrics for both main applicant and dependant.

Thank you all for your usual help.

Hello, has anyone applied for and gotten a UK skilled worker visa this month? If so, how many working days did it take to get it?

I applied for one early in the month and I haven't gotten my decision. At the time that I applied the uk.gov website quoted the time that it takes for processing the visa as 3 weeks but I noticed that they have updated it to 6 weeks so I want to know if visa processing times for Nigeria are currently averaging 3 weeks or 6.

Any information will be appreciated smiley

It is still stated on the website, 3 weeks. But evidently some applications are taking up to 6 weeks or more as it is.

You can’t get police report from anywhere.
It must be from Alagbon police station in Lagos.
It’s clearly stated in the UK.GOV site.

I think you can do it from any Police State headquarters in Nigeria but it will take time for you to get the report because they will still send it to Lagos.

You will get it the same day if it is done in Police HQ Alagbon, Lagos.

Thanks for replying. I've attached the text on the site that states 6 weeks. I will keep my fingers crossed for a faster time.

I did my masters degree in uk, liverpool hope uni. Yet, am still finding it hard to get sponsorship, am here in nigeria in the federal civil service. The lord we will see us through

There's a place you choose if you have a degree or msc from UK. Yours seems more straightforward.
I'm trying to register for a professional body and I'm supposed to do the 'statement of comparability ' one. my degree is from Nigeria. I already opened an account to start my ' English proficiency' on the uk naric website. So since it seems the comparability is more urgent to me now. I halt the 'proficiency ' application to start the 'comparability' one but it seems to take me to either create new profile or Continue application which is the 'proficiency '.
Withthe way its going. I may end up doing both. (Meaning I have to finish applying for the proficiency and do the comparability. ) unless someone has another way out.

Hi, Osars! I don't know if this would help but you can try it: log in to your account, click on 'Additional services', 'Choose an additional service', and then 'Add Statement of Comparability.'

Please move on and keep applying like the promise isn't there. Send them a reminder at the end of July if you've not gotten a response by then but don't stop applying.

In an unrelated comment, I think people should not overly focus on Care jobs alone. If you can brush yourself up in IT related fields, please do. I know atleast 3 people personally who have been given 100% sponsorship (all payments inclusive) and also family sponsorships within the few months. 2 in UK, 1 in NL.

What IT field can you advise someone that will guarantee this. I'm taking some courses on Front end development from General Assembly. I'm willing to switch to a path that is favourable given the right guidance.

Please as much as we're apprehensive about scammers, let's be mindful of our attitudes and relationships with our potential UK employers, so as not to create negative impressions about ourselves and our country.
If you're sceptical about a recruiter, just do a thorough search about them and decide whether to proceed or to disregard them, instead of resorting to insolence at a recruiter you're yet to know. The implications can be quite serious, and may close the door not just for you but for other applicants from your country. And we'd still be the ones to come to NL to complain about how UK employers have stopped recruiting from Nigeria! angry
