GeneralDae:
Hi Schemerkhiz, was gonna ask you, speaking of the wing back positions, was Patricia George still injured when the call up was made? Why does the coach overlook her? Ogbonna is a serious weak link there in my opinion.
Yeah yeah yeah, Glory Ogbonna is my major concern in the defence, to me she is still very much average in every aspect of her game… Anyway Randy knows best!

isan:
As far as ogbonna doesn't start we will be fine the payne sisters can play left back
If Randy doesn’t bench Onome Ebi in a 4 Women defence, Ashleigh Plumptre will likely play from the Left Back to accommodate Ohale and Ebi at Center Back with Alozie in Right Back…

I really want to see Nicole Payne having more game time…! Her pace is blastering going forward..
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by AkinDS: 4:42am On Jun 28, 2022
What expectations were the trainers talking about? Has Glory Ogbonna lived up to those expectations?
I feel they are just making excuses, as something fishy is going on.
Schemerkhiz:
Patricia George was not injured when the list came out, She missed some number of invitations too. Again she hasn’t lived up to expectations according to insiders from the Superfalcon training Camp…

I wouldn't be that generous, to be honest.
Very far from impressed with her play.

I still can't get over this, I believe there's more to this.. I'm still trying to get the facts on why Glory Ogbonna looks before than Patri because going with the football qualities Ogbonna doesn't come close, again Patri has a lot of qualities that set her ahead of her, is it the speed, Physical Strength, Skills or experience??

Glory Ogbonna errors have cost the falcons a lot.... Is it against the US, South Africa, Ghana or even Portugal??

I would rather have any of the Payne Sisters or Ashleigh Plumptre at left Back..

There are two social media pages (on Instagram). The one managed by the NFF is for the most part inactive. It seriously lacks content and whenever they do share anything it's cringe worthy. The second social media page is managed by EaglesTracker. This has more content and the most active of both pages.

Of the falcons social media page managed by the NFF, the Twitter account is the most active.

Zambia 0 Uganda 5. (72 mins).

Although it seems Zambia is experimenting but this is too much. It shows their bench is quite weak.

Katie Mrabet is their best defender. #21.
Both teams are rusty on attack that falcons team B will easily beat them square. I didn't like the rough play though. But MaR are better organized in play than CIV. Both go collect 5goal if Onumonu catch them.

grin grin

The girls should take this based on the way teams are playing in these friendlies.

We're far too organized in play. But omo, they fit fall hand when we least expect. But last 3, e sure them.

Ozo sef ehn. Guy like fair babes. Ordega be kiafu

Modern Football is now played with fast paced that promotes physicality and intense pressing while also sustaining the foundation of structural play and tiki-taka.

I just want to see the falcons doing this, thanks to the those Players who are good with their ball handling coupled with their Speed....

I just hope Coach Randy seat out Rita Chikwelu from the starting 11 and give rooms to the Younger defensive midfielders especially Christy Ucheibe who alone can cover a lot of ground breaking down opposing play and winning possessions.. With Energetic Ayinde again in Midfield who's also a great passer and a good ball winner, whosever that takes up the Attacking Midfield position between Ngozi Okobi, Rasheedat Ajibade and Tony Payne will definitely have more rooms to operate..

Regina Otu should be Randy no.1 substitute in Midfield for either Ucheibe or Ayinde if she doesn't start ahead of any of them when the need arises...
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 6:34am On Jun 29, 2022
A fit and inform Fransisca Ordega will save us a lot of stress upfront.. Franny has never had a bad WAFCON tournament from 2010 till date... I'm still banking on that.

And if she doesn't turn up Uchenna Kanu will have to double up as they're the main flank players.. We have got Vivian Ikechukwu, Monday Gift too

Macleans Chinonyerem is surrounded by big name's like Asisat Oshoala, Ifeoma Onumonu at the Center of the attack so no much attention have been given to her considering she would be filling into the void left by Desire Oparanozie her fellow well built striker..

*NFF appoints Falode Falcons Chef de Mission for Morocco 2022*

The president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has officially announced the appointment of NFF board member and the Chairperson of the Nigeria Women Football League, Aisha Falode, as the Chef De Mission/ Leader of Delegation for the Super Falcons trip to Morocco for the 2022 CAF African Women Cup of Nations.

Pinnick, noted that Falode was the Leader of Delegation to the Ghana 2018 Women's Nations Cup which Nigeria won, and she has been found worthy to help motivate Nigeria to yet another victorious edition of the Women's Nations Cup especially as the Super Falcons team is going for the tenth title of the Nations Cup.

"She, in her capacity as Leader of Delegation can ask anybody not part of the team to leave the team's camp. She is the eye of the Nigerian government for the team in Morocco.

"She is going to be with the team from the beginning to the end of the tournament. Ofcourse you know her antecedent, she was in CAF for 10 years even before I came into CAF. She has been able to rebuild and rebrand the women league in Nigeria, Africa and indeed in the world as one of the best.

"I believe strongly that in the nearest future, she is going to be rewarded for changing the fortune of women's football league, by CAF and FIFA. And also for her ability and leadership capacity in the organisation and advancement of women's football in Africa."

The NFF president noted that the Super Falcons are going to Morocco 2022 as the greatest team in Africa. Germany won the European Cup titles eight times, same as the United States of America winning the continental titles for eight times. It's only the Super Falcons of Nigeria that has won the continental titles for nine times in the world and the players together with Aisha Falode and the coaches have resolved and determined to win the 10th title at Morocco 2022 AWCON. they are more determined and unstoppable to achieve the tenth title for Nigeria at the Women's Cup of Nations.

"The Super Falcons are also presented with the advantage as being the only team in Africa that has been to all editions of the FIFA Women's World Cup from 1991 till date. So, as they are battling for the tenth title for Nigeria, they are also going for the ticket to play at the next edition of the Women's World Cup in Australia."

Aisha Falode in her response promised to ensure total harmony in the team's camp as Leader of Delegation, with the aim of encouraging the Super Falcons win their tenth title and also qualify for the World Cup in Australia among other accolades at Morocco 2022.

"We know the major focus of all the teams coming to Morocco is to defeat the Super Falcons of Nigeria even if subsequently they don't win the cup, because of the dominance of the Nigerian team, but, bad for all the eleven teams competing, we won't allow them.

"For Nigeria, as defending champions, we are going to Morocco with the trophy and by hard work, dedication and grace of God, we shall come back with the trophy and the tenth title after playing in Morocco as one family. With this spirit, the team will surely play as one unit, one family, with one love, the chemistry to win all games and the spirit of Nigeria."
