Overall, I go to the Muslim, and also go to the Church. If masquerades of my community come out, I still follow them for up to 3o kilometers round a section of the city.

- the utter callousness a God has for the death of innocent people, over and over again. The reply of "can't question God" doesn't really assuage this
- the feeling that God constantly makes mistakes and kills a whole bunch of people: floods, earthquakes, fires; ostensibly because he made people, they didn't do what he wanted, so he resets...
- the similarity of blood sacrifices to other religions: from Isaac to Jesus... blood is spilt as atonement.
- unanswered questions about what happens to souls of unborn children, those who died before they could understand Jesus, those who didn't hear about Jesus in their lifetime.
- striking similarity to other religions that have been lost to history, or in the case of my ancestor's religion, demonized by the modern ones

My de-conversion story is a pretty long one. But to sum it all up, I became very inquisitive, and started to ask a lot of questions.

Those questions led to more questions, and eventually, after taking my time to learn more about religion, and about the universe, and actually taking an objective look at things, I realized there was not a lot of credible evidence for the beliefs which I previously held.

Judging from this, you should also hold the believe that life is meaningless.

People hold opinions for different reasons. A person may have heard about gods and decide not to believe because they have no experience of it and so they have no reason to believe . The reason is simple , god is not within their sensory experience
Spirit husband is a very common concept in Nigeria
There are many Nigerians who do not believe it and other who do for different reasons
There are places of the World where they have no knowledge of spirit husband and will not believe because it is NOT IN THEIR EXPERIENCE
The same applies to money ritual and so on. This , is not about being a kid. It’s common sense.

I was Atheist until 2021 then l I gained more knowledge to turn Agnostic, which was highly influenced by the life of Neil Dygress Tyson and Socrates.

I'm agnostic actually, and honestly it was one hell of a bumpy ride before I became one.

There isn't enough proof to prove that a supreme being exists, neither is there enough to prove that one doesn't. Science might say that there is, but a walk down memory lane would show that science isn't stable; it changes and contradicts itself every now and then, so believing everything they say makes no sense. What's even more overwhelming is the thousands of religions that exist, so which one is it.

These thoughts are what led me to reject religion and forget about seeking the truth, because who cares if a supreme being or beings exists or don't. That's not something anyone should bother himself about. If you want to believe, believe. If you don't want to, don't. If you want to sit on the fence like me, you're welcome. It won't change shit. What's more important is that we should tolerate each other's beliefs as far as it doesn't support harming of other people

Utter rubbish! Look at Genesis 6, do you not see how shocked God was that you people are so very wicked?

The Truth that you are complaining about is that you wished God had wiped out mankind (as Satan wants) so that you might not have been born into this world where you too are as guilty as those men, therefore qualified for wiping out!

That is what makes you an "I hate God" because wicked people must hate God because He is Too Good and therefore, He must condemn all wicked people.
