Yeah, I have read about the development of that country and it sounds like they are the new hub and future darling of Africa.

Have you lived there? If yes, what is the nature of power supply? I am a digital marketing consultant (SEO) so I will only settle in a country with abundant power supply. I am currently in Ghana but the people here are more xenophobic than South Africans. The power here is out of this world.

In three months, there might be just ONE interruption which does not last one hour. I mean you have your A.C or fan as the case may be, running for three to four months straight. I wonder how the Ghanaians got it right and we(Nigeria) are still miles behind.
Have you successfully migrate to any of these countries? Please update me abeg, mine is business I have in mind
Gambia or Rwanda is my target

I am having a thought, I'm a computer engineer, I repair, network, cctv, web design and I teach crypto as well.. I have a great business idea that I just pitched and seems to start working here in Nigeria. I have been planning to raise money here to send my siblings all out of this country. My business just started but it's still slow. I have raised about 3million to set up from crypto I am thinking I won't repay the office rent or house rent here again, my total bill for office rent, light that I don't see office and house fuel for car and generator all is about 450,000 naira. If not more than.

Office rent, 230,000 naira yearly house rent 200,000
Light 2500 monthly 5,000
Security 12000 yearly for office 1k yearly resident

Fuel 12,000 naira office monthly that's if I reduce use. Car 16,000 monthly.

Feeding, data, money to mum, clothing ,all not inclusive. This is roughly 700k i think ill tour this rout, with my business plan, it will work and since their currency is higher than ours, i can raise fund quicker there and then fund my siblings to the UK and canada then i can move later to canada.

If you are ready to move and have ideas, we can progress... I will teach staff what i do. Its easy to make money anywhere with skills.

Love these, how’s it going because I know by now, you have migrated already, can we talk ? Maybe we can rob mind

Yes, i once lived in Kigali before moving to the State to look for good money so that i can return back there, invest and settle down there finally and also raise a family there. This was in 2016 and power, life in general in Kigali was something i had not seen in any African country before, including that Accra Ghana where u reside presently. During my stay there i met several Nigerians who came from places like India, Dubai, China, Botswana and other Asian and African countries to call Kigali their home. I wouldn't know much about other parts of the country but Kigali which is their federal capital is currently the real deal in Africa. Google Rwanda or Kigali and u will see that every thing u will read and see about the country is possitive. Before this yr end am moving back there.
I will like to have some discussion with you sir
Please I want to live Nigeria and relocate to any save African country
I have Rwanda and Gambia in mind, and it’s for business
What advice do you have for me and like how much can I manage with then what business do you think that moves there ? Thanks

I understand very well what you’re saying but can’t risk all that, the cash this days is damn fat
I only ask if I can get a job there, I have Dubai experience in hydro blasting and it’s a marine work, I have the certificate to cover up
Since you have all these experiences and know that most people won’t tell me the truth
What do you advice me to do now, if I take it the way you listed
I might loose the little cash I have at hand
Help me sir
Just little advice okay

I can only give advice, try anyway, if you have money go to a country hustler there, because there you will meet different people and have good connections, because there you can move to another where you can get your work, that you learn
With your Nigeria passport you will find it difficult to get a Panama visa if you get a UK multiple entry visa you get visa free access to Panama. If you have a permit you will get a better job here, but if you don't have a permit you will not get a job

It used to be fun and easy. I don't know of now. It takes six to Seven days.
The border immigrantions will try to extort you once they know you are a Nigerian.
You best bet is change your naira bro dollars. It is easy to carry and exchangeable anywhere in the world. Even if it is millions of naira. Keep it in a place in your body that no one would know it there. Now change some thousands of naira into cefas. An amount that you know would be enough to feed you and transport you. You can keep your cefas in your normal purse. If you need to settle immigration at the borders you pay with cefas. That is what all french west African countries spend.

Now board a vehicle to Benin republic. There ask for where to get luxurious buses to Mali Bamako Board that. On getting to Bamako board train or car to Senegal and at Senegal you enter Gambia by road or ferry .

Kigali Rwanda is good, many Nigerians are moving into that country now. In fact I have a guy that moved in there about 4months ago from Nigeria and according to him, he is doing very well. He has lived in so many countries, including Egypt, Philippines and others but he is now based in Kigali and according to him, he is doing very well. He said he opened a drinking joint and that he hardly have chance for himself as from morning till 12mid night he is busy with customers. Rwandans drinks a lot, so he is doing well in that drink stuff. I really do not know the type of business I can advise u to go into. The guy didn't have drinking joint in mind before going. In fact he had some thing totally different in mind but wen he got there, he took like 2months to observe things for himself and eventually went into drink business. So my advise is that u go there and look for wat the people need and go into it. And for how much you need to go there? My advice is , pls plan and prepare very well financially, because things are very very expensive over there in Kigali, far more than any state in Nigeria, including Abuja. House rent, food and just about every thing, things are just very expensive in Kigali. Bear that in mind wen making up ur mind in traveling to Kigali. Thanks you

Foodstuffs or ladies wear, I don’t really know what the country is like and what they need, the way I understand business is what the particular state or environment needs most, that’s why am asking, just like I mentioned this two, it might be out of choice when I get there because it might be what they need

Foodstuffs is still a good idea, but you need to live there physically to see for yourself, it will help to determine their needs.

Do you need Int'l passport or NIN can serve when going through road?

Your question is not clear but if it is what I think it is.

Yes you need international passport or Ecowas passport to travel by road through west of Africa. You don't need your NIN.
But remember you can't get a new passport now without NIN.

Thanks, what am trying to say is that I want to go to Gambia, I have my ECOWAS Passport and I won't mind if I can get teaching job for the time that I will be there. But what I need now is that how to get there maybe by road or by air. Just that when I checked for the flight from here to Gambia is around 400k which its too expensive for me. That's why I need advice and also concerning how to get accommodation too.
Thanks

If you read through this thread you should know how to get there. Didn't you go through all the comments?

Writing an epistle all over again is not easy.
I am sure you can't spend up to half of the airfare if you go by road. But by road has its disadvantages. There are people who would try to extort you at every border and Nigerian guys are part of them. Don't trust anybody whether they speak your Nigerian dialect or not. Yoruba o or Igbo or Hausa. The Hausas are not as bad as Yoruba guys and Igbos but don't trust anyone. You can relate with other passengers in the bus and get some info from them but be very wise.

Change a large sum into dollars. Keep it somewhere in your body. A place where even border officers can't see it. Dollar is easy to hide because it can't be voluminous.

Change like 100k to Cefas and keep it well. It's from that you pay for bus fare and food you buy on the way. Never leave Naija with Naira. Change your in Naija before you leave except the one you want to change to Cefas. That one you'll change at Cotonou to Cefas.

If you go by air no hassles. Change all your money to dollars only. Hide the large some and keep small dollar note of 10 dollars ,five dollars in your purse. Their immigration too are corrupt. I they wan trouble you just drop 5dolls or ten and tell them that's all you have on. If they know you have large some of dollars they might want to extort you further.

Stay blessed.
Tired of typing.
