It’s only via transfer they currently accept.

Good morning & happy new month everyone. Please does Lufthansa airline still request for negative covid test even with a valid covid vaccine card? Please did anyone fly with them last month?

With full vaccination you do not need a Covid test to travel to canada with Lufthansa.

WHAT GOD CANNOT DO, DOES NOT EXIST!

God has shown mercy to me and my children.

My SOWP and my 3 children's Study Visa applications have been approved by IRCC.

1st Applications

Our 1st applications made in June 2021 were all refused on 25th September 2021. The main concern of the VO, as revealed in the GCMS note, was that my wife, who is a Masters student in BC, filled on her application form that her family would not accompany her to Canada. The VO questioned the truthfulness of my wife's statement in her application, when we now applied for visas while she was still in Nigeria. VO said other things which we considered circumstantial.

I came on this platform then to seek for advice and I really obtained valuable advice from members. What did we do?

2nd Applications

We filed another set of applications on 8th November 2021 with my wife explaining the reasons for her change in plan. We filed additional documents showing stronger home ties by exhibition of pictures of our parents, affidavits of birth of our parents and affidavit of births of my siblings. I also exhibited share certificate, receipt of payment of professional dues, together with landed property. I showed rent receipts issued to our tenants.

Along the line, my wife wrote her MP sometime in February 2022 seeking for a status update on our applications. The response was that criminality check was passed and nothing more. Our upfront medicals expired in April 2022, but I refused to go for any more upfront medicals. If they are ready, they will contact us. I was drained, both emotionally and psychologically, noting that the journey began in June 2021. I only held on to God, as a lot was at stake.

There was a time I read an email IRCC had sent to someone here requesting for updated transcripts of his student spouse. I took the initiative by sending my wife's updated transcripts sometime in late April 2022. I have a feeling this had a positive impact on our applications.

Boom, medical request showed for my children and I on 16th May 2022. We quickly sent an email to QLife who gave us an appointment in about 9 days later. Medicals were updated to "pass" for my children on 7th June, while they got their PPR on 9th June. For me, my medical was updated to "pass" on 8th June, while my PPR only came on 29th June.

In between my children's PPR and 29th June, I sent their passports to Abuja the penultimate Monday and we received the stamped passports on 28th June. I almost sent another webform on 29th June with the plan to exhibit my children's visas and seeking a quick response on my application. By 9am on 29th June, 2 "donotreply" emails had come into my inbox.

My wife travelled to BC since September 2021, leaving me with 3 active boys, while IRCC kept playing the delay game. Thank God it has ended in praise.

I wish to say a big thank you to members on this forum who were responsive to my questions at the relevant times. Really appreciate.

To everyone still waiting, hang on there. It's not over until you have won. You can't afford to give up. Keep praying and sending the webforms, the golden emails will surface shortly.

Thank you All!

So this is my first post on here
Though I’ve been a silent reader for the past few weeks and I’ve gotten a lot of insight on here

I’ve been stuck with making a decision and honestly I have been troubled cause any decision I make now influence my decision in picking a career path

So I graduated from UNIBEN around this time last year with a second class lower and ever since then I didn’t go for service cause I felt I had nothing to offer so I began to take online courses and get myself some certifications on Cousera and some other platforms on software Engineering
I’m still yet to go for service anyways but I’d be looking to go with the next batch, and still unemployed but searching
I’ve been looking to apply for one of these colleges in the North Atlantic regions of Canada as they are actually cheaper and affordable due to my financial status, dad is retired but willing to sponsor my tuition and other expenses from the sale of one of his landed properties
I’ve been looking to apply for a PGD either in Software Development,Data analysis ,Cyber security or Business and advanced Analytics which the requirement is usually for student with computer science background,Accounting and other related field.
So far, Most of the schools I’ve checked out are either offering a one year PG certificate in these courses or are either not open for application for fall 2023
I’m stuck between making a decision on going for a Diploma programme in Network Administration or a diploma in any IT related field which is a 2yr course

Please gurus in the house @ lekikibobo, frank and other bosses
I need your help and advise on this one .

Good afternoon House,

Please, who recently got their Form A transaction approved and tuition paid? Which Bank did you use, please? Globus just rejected my transaction at the supervisor stage because of no FX allocation.

I want to try Stanbic since UBA and Globus have not come through, being trying to open a Providus bank account for more than a week but have not received OTP via SMS and email, and their customer service cannot help too. I'm open to trying another bank too once I know they might deliver.

The black market rate is a no-go area for me.

Congratulations to you and your family.

Did you mean the initial application was refused because your wife stated in her SP application that you were not going to accompany her to Canada and, more so, because she hadn't left Nigeria then? Please clarify.

Thank you All!

something is definitely off here if you don't have access to your application you can't find out what's really happening, you NEED to ask for your 1.login details 2. all security questions and answers if your agent is reluctant to give you something is wrong.

It is my agent that is incharge of my application, both emails

I did not have access to it.

But i was the one who sent webforms
I used the uci and application number written on my biometrics request paper.

He called me this morning saying why did i send mail through the webform.

I graduated from the department of Computer Science with a 2:2
Same related field of study
But applying for a diploma doesn’t show progression, but rather a PGD does, but most of the courses relating to my field for PGD are usually a one year course or not even open for application for fall 2023
So I thought of applying for a Diploma programm in Network Administration which is a 2yr programm.
Do you think this is a good decision and won’t be a red flag to the VO when I’m looking to apply for Visa
