See me see trouble o! I made a huge amount of money in December 2021, so in January 2022
i thought of saving the money in a place that will give me interest by December 2022. I planned to use the interest to flex or maybe even go on vacation sef. Someone recommended a platform (I will not mention their name yet) to me on this app that I should lock my money there, that I will get high interest that I can use to run some other stuff when I collect my money. What this person didn't tell me was that once I lock the money I won't be able to access it on a “due date”.

Fast forward to last week, my laptop crashed and I needed to get a replacement. I didn’t have enough money in my bank so I just thought to break my savings at least na my money and i really needed the laptop to continue my job. That was how I was told I cannot remove the money until when the thing unlocks itself. I WAN RUN MAD!!
Guys i want to know the next step to take, please o, i really need to remove my money to buy this laptop. I know I made a mistake by not reading Terms and Conditions, but I just felt like saving money should be flexible and stress-free.

Is this how all savings platforms are? Can’t a man just save money and get it back once they need it.

Which other savings apps with good interest and zero stress can I use in the future?
1. FairSave by FairMoney
2. Cowrywise
3. Bank
Which of these three is recommended abeg?
Use carbon,it’s tested and verified
Even if you want to remove your money before the due date,u still get ur accumulated interest but they will deduct tax from it.

Note:this is not an advert,I’m just helping out incase you want to lock ur funds next time

It's PiggyVest. Just leave the money as there is nothing you can do to unlock it until the due date.
Yeyely borrow money to buy a laptop and continue your hunting. By the way, I hope it's not a yahoo yahoo business though. Am so sorry if you feel offended please. Thank you.

Piggyvest... Safelock is for times when you wanna save your cash for a longer period. You'll have to wait till the time runs out... Not sure how much time you selected while locking your funds. You'll have to wait it out and withdraw on the last day at about 9:00pm I guess.
All of their wallets generate interest. Saved over 2m. In it since I started using it last year. Amazing, though I have only gotten an interest of 7k without investing, just saving lol. Not sure if that's good or bad.
Bye

I pity people who save money with this guys....
It's better you save with a reputable insurance company or open a new account for one bank ...tell them make them freeze am for you like 6 month..then save put inside... though there won't be interest ..infact there will be little deduction for acct maintenance and all..but till better...than all this crooks wey go later fold up.....
Na Naija you dey ooo.....Saraaa.. nobody go fight for you....
Wey MBA forex owner..has he been arrested..even if Dem arrest am..do you think govt go return money give rightful owners... Never...

Lemme tell you something about all this financial institution that are not reputable unlike the popular banks you know...
Once they have financial issues..all Dem customers go dey stranded....
He na go go court tire ...most of Dem are not even insured under NDIIC

Most times, it's good to fix your money with a conventional bank. That way, you can liquidate. Even though though your the interest due to you will be taken away from you.

Once locked, you can't unlock it,
That could be piggyvest, there's nothing you can do but to wait till the maturity period

Try opay's owealth. You can withdraw anytime and the daily interest rate (~15%) is cool.

I use Piggyvest too but never use the Safe lock feature for obvious reasons. Op was too greedy for high interest when the Flexible save feature has a high enough interest already. Besides, for a first timer, it states what each of this savings features do which is why it is important to read.

They've even changed it now

You are eligible to withdraw at the exact time you created the lock

My last lock was around 6:40am and I was able to withdraw at the same 6:40am 2 weeks later

u no wan mention name how we go advise you, e be like u no know say all get different features to know the kind advise we go give u. If na piggyvest trying to remove the mo ey before the stipulated time attracts a fine, maybe 5% or less, I don't know again. huh About the app you fit use that is stress free and u can get money out without stress or penalty, use OPAY... It acts like piggyvest flex but higher interest of 15% on the first 100k saved and subsequent amount is 10%
