I bought an ITEC GH3500, the Manuel said the recommended engine oil is 5W-30 but even where I bought it they use an sae 40 to run it

I would like to ask which product and model I should go for when considering fuel efficiency, durability, load capacity and affordability. (Wondering if a 3.5kva or 4.5kva is sufficient)

Using a 3.5kva will be better because it will consume lesser fuel than the 4.5kva

It's difficult to even tell the actual kva of elepaq generators nowadays, too much fakes. For the AC, I think it's a step up transformed you need.

Yes its ok. This is not something to be done frequently. Do you mean increasing running speed also?

Buying online is risky. Many times what is written as specs is different from what is delivered. All generators are advertised to be equiped with 100% cooper but in reality many are not.

Sorry for the late response. I later went for solar. And I’ve been enjoying it for past 1 year and 3 months now. I installed it myself though cos I’m an installer. I don’t border myself with fuel or diesel for past one year now. My light is constant and freezer block always for the sake of food items in it.

I don't think it's the oil change. However, maintain your previous oil brand. Investigate the source of the loud strange sound.

I also bought a small lutian generator ( 1.2kva). For offlce assist. The first time I put it on, it worked for about an hour and half and went off. The next time it worked for around 30 minutes and went off
Pls what could be wrong
The oil gauge is at the middle level of the dipstick ( I checked now), could that be the problem?
Pls come to my aid

It's a brand new gen. Have not even worked for 3 hours. I will top the oil like was suggested by a chairman here and see how it goes

My 3.75kva gen refused to start ooo...

I have tried few troubleshooting I saw on YouTube but to no avail.

1. I have changed the spark plugs.
2. I disconnected the "low oil sensor" wire.
3. I even tried to clean the carburetor.

All to no avail.

Please what else can I do? I need this your responses badly as PHCN dey pepper us for my area ooo
