I actually had a very funny experience with this. My 3.75 TEC generator actually consumed MORE FUEL when I turn the fuel tap half way.

My guess is that maybe turning the fuel tap half way imposes more stress on the engine.

Please I need to get a Gen for my remote job
Basically the gen will be used with the followings
- Inverter with inbuilt battery rated 500 watt
- Two laptops each requiring 64watt input
- Fan and sometimes TV
Also, the gen must have a lower noise level,
consume less fuel.

If the AC is not inverter type, you'll need to go above the 200k mark.

The conversion is meant for generators and not electrical appliances.

Watts = Volt X Ampere

I don't think they make blenders that consume that much power.

My gen voltage is higher than usual ever since i had the carburetor fixed,i am afraid,this would lead to more fuel consumption or worse,damaged appliances,i know it has to do with the two screws below but not much else,will i turn it or left or right plus what else do i need to know?

1. Convert generator kvA to watts by multiplying by 0.8.

2. Add up power ratings of all the appliances that will be loaded on the generator at the same time.

I have the Thermocool 7.5kva generator, the "pilot red light" has been flickering since morning, please can any technician in the house help.

2. Believe whatever is written on the sticker as long as you purchase from an authorised dealer.

The AC was shipped from the US. It uses 100v.

I use a fireman ACmaster 4500 with running of 3600..less than a year old...
Now the generator keeps going off while running sensing oil low issue. Noticed I now need to top the oil like once in a week....which was not like that before. HELP...I got this gen for over 200k.

40 inch TV
And 2 standing fans
Light bulbs
Occasionally my I.5hp AC regular
And pump water (surface pump) occasionally.

You don't need a stabiliser as the generator is already equipped with an automatic voltage regulator (AVR).

How often do you change oil, how many hours do you run it per day averagely? I think your piston rings are gone.
