Kwankwaso is also guilty of same thing. As a NNPP member, he still has alot of influence in PDP and such can be seen when Wike gave him money for mobilising delegates during the PDP presidential primaries.

We keep shouting power should come to the young and vibrant. But while the so called old men (Tinubu and Buhari) can delay their ambitions and form a merger in 2015 just to get what they want, the ones that are smart, young and vibrant can't achieve a simple alliance in 2022 to rescue the country.

It is obvious that the powers that be were blindsided by Obi's emergence.

They had already done their usual abracadabra to ensure no SEner emerges as the presidential candidate of the major parties, only for Obi to turn up late and add an additional wahala to all those whose intention is to ensure no Igboman ever makes it to the presidency.

Obi does not have to ally with Kwankwaso. In fact, Obi's chances of getting the presidency will be brightened, if the four major parties remain, as they are right now.
A northwest candidate
A northeast candidate
A southwest candidate
A southeast candidate

LP should not be seeking to get into any alliance with any of the major parties. Peter Obi will win the SE, SS, NC and up to 40% of SW.

Tinubu will wil the SW alone
Kwankwaso will win the NW alone
Atiku will win the NE alone

In my heart of hearts, I know Kwankwaso is seeking this partnership just to know whether the north will eliminate the threat that Obi poses.
I suspect that at some point, he may have to work out an arrangement with Atiku, once he gets the message that Obi will not budge, as a way of ensuring a northerner wins the presidency.
