Stop using POS at the road sides and shops! If you want to withdraw money, go inside your bank or use an ATM from conventional banks.

If a person knows the number in your ATM card..the front and back number on the atm card . that person can withdraw your money illegally...and be careful of some of this POS stands

It is better to have two accounts, you use the Atm card of the one with small amount to withdraw from pos only while the one with many cash, you transact directly from the bank. Some pos operators clones atm cards,it's very risky.

it's a simple thing for her to do, take your phone to the Opay office, but before you go, report to police and Efcc,

let the trace the Pos operator, if Opay refuse to do anything, get a good lawyer, take the matter to court, sue them for not just the 1milla, but for damages too,

UBA as your banker is not responsible for it, so far they had play their part, by sending you the transaction receipt, use it to Sue Opay

I think CBN should, as a matter of urgency intervene into banks issue, because it is getting out of hand.

The bank needs to do internal cleansing of their staff.

Is not the same cbn that just brought out a policy that banks will no longer be liable for that? There is a recent policy not mkre tuan months old. This methos of stealing will be on the rise now

There is no free money anywhere in the world.

It is through all these nonsense links promising free money that people unwittingly download malware into their phones or computers that would eventually steal money from their bank accounts!

Issokay, just saying that she should calm down, follow due process. The bank hasn't said they are not going to help, it's cos she is not patient and also resorting to curses and fight. But then, the bank is not outrightly at fault here cos anything could have happened. It's like they have not copied your atm pin before and withdraw your money even while you not there...it's obvious a fraudulent person initiated the transaction, either by gaining access to her pin or others scamful ways.

I remember when I lost #2000 to access bank in February of this year, I almost cried. They didn't give any reason for it, they duducted it as soon as the alert entered.
Wasted almost #500 airtime on trying to make a complaint using their customer care. Worst part of it was the town I was didn't have their branch office.

bro, of all banks, I don't know others ooooo, but of them all, uba is the worst and most useless bank from their apps, to their ussd code, nothing good about them. I had up to their different apps, all because I can be having access easily to my money, yet is trash. I needed to just use ATM to withdrew all my money and stop using them. Even if I tell u I just collected my ATM not up to a month, I asked them to help me blocked my ATM also. I cant use them again. And they are not useful when it comes to loan issue, they will be dribbling u.

A video of Yoruba actress Victoria Ajibola aka Omolocal lamenting bitterly in a bank branch over her missing money has sparked reactions on social media.

The movie star in her statement revealed that the bank has been nonchalant about her predicament and even called security on her Ajibola added that she has never taken more than N150k in a day from her account and N1m just disappeared within thirty minutes.

She lamented over the fact that she has never collected such a huge sum at once from her account and N1m was wiped in just thirty minutes with reference to a POS machine.

Omolocal added that she doesn't collect beyond N150k daily for herself and because she has been recording in the bank, the police have been called to kick her out.

In another clip, the actress was seen in a video crying bitterly as she spoke to someone on the phone. "The situation of this country is getting worse everyday like see what UBA did to me since last week Friday they withdraw all money through pos and nothing as been done to it since last week Friday and when we got to the POS paycom office of Nigeria @opay.ng they said is only UBA ubagroup that can send them an email before they can do anything to it but still UBA could not do anything to it.
