I’ve been worried sick. I applied on the 13th of June. My issue is I felt GIC of $10,0000 was enough as proof of funds so I only added my saving account statement with closing balance of just N2.2mil. Survey plan of landed property in my name as home ties. My employment letter as well as pay slips. My full tuition for the 1 year duration of my program has been paid. Will this suffice or should I send my business account statement as web form. I have extra funds in there. Please any input would be appreciated. @lekkiboe @Frankrobbn All the gurus pleas help. Thank you. |

Send it immediately, no information is too much so long as it’s a legal bank statement. Gilb231: |

Gilb231:Send everything. No use keeping it. But if you're sending a business account statement, you need to add sole signatory letter. It's a letter from the bank confirming you're the sole signatory to the business account and funds in it are available to you. You can also add the cac certificate and that cac page that shows details of proprietor. |

Greetings to all Gurus in the House. please I would really appreciate it if I can get a response here. My wife's Study permit was approved on 2 June 2022 and would be valid till August 2023 . She is to resume school this September 2022 , But because I and our baby's VV is still in process, She wants to Defer to MAY 2023 (January 2023 defer is filled up already. MAY is the only available Defer slot and she can't leave her 2 months baby behind to travel by SEP). Please my question is: HER MEDICALS WOULD EXPIRE IN FEB 2023 , and with expired Medicals, she can not travel to Canada by MAY. Q1: can she do an Upfront Medicals in January 2023 just before it Expires (Considering all the Backlogs) and Then send a webform to IRCC to update the Medical E form? or Q2: should she wait for it to expire before she does another medical? Q3: In this case, she would be uploading the New medical sheet via the webform to IRCC, Would she need to upload also the new Letter of Admission due to Deferring? Please, If you have been in this situation before, I would really appreciate a response. we do not wanna make mistakes. Thank you 1 Like 1 Share |

Gilb231: Relax bro, your application stands a great chance with GIC. Have you got a medical request yet? If so, go and buy your traveling bag. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Nobody: 1:31pm On Jul 08, 2022 |
To be on the safe side. Please defer your admission to May 2023 and then apply for your study permit immediately. Do an upfront medical and ensure you check all the boxes for submitting a study permit. Best Wishes. Oremeter: |

Oremeter:You can chances are that you’ll get your study permit next month or by September. Once you have every document handy and ready. Nothing should stop you from putting forward the application |

Present Sir ! I noticed virtually all the January 2022 applications do not receive swift attention like those after them. It's so unfortunate. Am actually January 15th applicant and my eligibility review began just 12 days ago after bombarding IRCC with series of mails. The waiting is killing bro. Am waiting for their final decision and I hope it will not take donkey years to hear from them. It will end in praise. What God cannot do does not exit. zxxtx: 3 Likes |

After getting study visa stamped on your passport which is due to expire before the completion of your program, is there any harm done when you go and renew that passport and it gets canceled so one can get a new one? We know Nigeria Immigration will have to cancel the old passport before releasing the new one to you. Is there any consequence to this? Will the Canadian Study permit on the old one still be valid? I learnt there's something called counter foil on the visa, will it be affected by the cancellation? @technix @goingforward @justwise- and other veterans in the house, kindly advise |

Please gurus, I want to add the amount that was given to me on my wedding day in my SOP. I also want to include the name of the person and relationship with the person in the same SOP. I will also add gift deed documents. My question is, is it advisable to add all these information on the SOP or just write that I was given a monetary gift on my wedding day and provide the deed gift document? |
