you don’t understand what make a round 10lanes you no ask questions.hmmm.
See , you don't calculate the lanes of a road by the median, rather you calculate the lanes of a road by the size of the width.

This road is an ten lanes road, certainly not four.

I’m a details: it’s 10lane actually becos the btw the massive divider you have 3lane on each flanks making it 6 while the other 2service lanes have 2 lanes each making it 4 .. so total of 10lanes .. meanwhile the one leading to the airport is 8 lanes ..
This is what Google understands as 10 lane road my brother.
Is any of the roads you analyzed like this one?

Try and learn what a lane is for e.g that’s a picture of a 10lane road in Germany with just one divider and remember what I said earlier with markings

Even if it's a two lane road, it's a good development.

my brother that guys is an illiterate global standard for a lane is 12ft and which atomatically can enter one full mini bus .. If this road is mark inwhich it will definitely be marked on completion you will see the widt after the center divider is 36 ft on one flank same opposite while 28ft on one flank of’which is the service lane .. check out the pix below

Have they fixed the roads linking the villages to the cities? The airport isn't as economically viable to the detriment of other things. I still wonder how we set our priorities.

You're right and those roads to the villages should be done too. Then again, the people who would most often use the airports don't live in the villages, so prioritizing roads for the airport (through which a lot of goods can also come in) is a good thing.

Granted, what I'd like to see is an emphasis on enabling small and medium scale enterprises, then the need for those roads would be better justified. Slowly slowly, Ibom is getting there, and I pray my brothers would build upon past efforts. Akwa Ibom of 20 years ago and now are not the same place.

are an ebot since you don’t know that the road cutting across the oron road to Nwaniba is 120 ft (10lane ).. while the one heading to the airport is 96 ft (8lanes) so as such one is bigger than the other

Waste of resources finish u there.
So investors and business should thrive in the state with no roads on ground at first to ensure freee flow of goods and services for a state just created I'm 1983 with little to no proper federal presence , they'll be using flying carpet like aladin or broom to move around abi? Ohh dahhhh, Ohh Dahhh,
Udom with Propaganda, mbok where e dey, na dat same Ibiaku road wey i drive come Oron so dem dey call 8 lane?

Akpabio did and expansive, word standard road, Udom came and added 2 other 2 lanes by each Shoulder, and now, will claim building an 8 lane road..

Omohh, if you no sabi propaganda and packaging, no near politics o
.

Not when travel and see massive highway in big cities in this country & abroad, and you will be blaming state Government.

Gov. Udom is working according to Uyo masterplan

Commend the Governor for the ongoing Oron-Airport Road expansion for once, that is what is expected in a modern city according to the Uyo Masterplan designed by Arc. Victor Attah, far back in 1987 when the State was created. Adjudge Uyo the State Capital to be the best Planned City, as Nigeria's 21st State Capital City.

The expansion is strategic linking the Airport and once the Seaport comes on stream, the issue of gridlock like what we having along Apapa Road in Lagos would be already addressed before time.

He is trying his best, I have seen nice &good high-rise building demolished, compensation paid just to give right-of-way to the ongoing expansion especially the right hand side of the Oron Road going to the Victor Attah International Airport from Uyo City, though I don't expect him to complete it due to time factor remaining for him in office, but the left hand side can be completed in the next Administration, but the Airport axis of the expansion will be completed maybe phase 1.

You can imagine pulling down structures in an already built area for road expansion, it's not easy, we will bear the incoviniences, the pains for tomorrow's gains.
