Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 9:33pm On Jul 10, 2022
Who is watching how Christy is setting herself up so the defence can easily connect with her. They aren't passing despite her space. Just once once. Nice game anyway.

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 9:43pm On Jul 10, 2022
Be live the long balls dey work. But they should focus on stringing passes for now. Burundi are having some nice passes once once.

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Pidginwhisper: 9:51pm On Jul 10, 2022
They’re wasteful. If we’re wasteful like this against a good side we’d end up punished. Too many chances tht could’ve been buried with ease wasted.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 9:51pm On Jul 10, 2022
Kanu was quite selfish in this game. Didn't expect that from her really.

Onumonu needs to be more clinical. You have to bury the few chances you get.

Rash is on fire.

Christy Ucheibe is selfless. Would love to see her play this role with Ayinde on the field.

Too many wasted chances, but good game so far

We can't get to final third without by passing our mildfield , Burundi hold the ball better than us

I wonder why they are not better at finishing. That coach needs to address this.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Pidginwhisper: 9:55pm On Jul 10, 2022
Mclean should replace Kanu in 2nd half.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by CornOak(m): 9:56pm On Jul 10, 2022
Was that Nigeria's 4th goal actually an offside?

Bulk of of the possession was our defenders passing to each other and goalkeeper

I wanted to say this but we had better accurate passes than them. But ball holding, i give it to them. We are practically tackling hard to dispossess them. And it's not even vice versa. Meaning we easily get dispossessed.

Nigeria’s quest to secure a spot in the knockout stages is going well after the first 45 minute!

Funny as it seems, Burundi are playing a high line and choking the midfield. Thus all these long balls. If a more technical side use it against us, na wahala o.
