You can do either ACCA knowledge level or CIMA certificate in business to add up to two more certificate. Those are short courses and can be done within 3months or less.

You can reach out for guide or study material. Comprehensively all you need to pass either of it.

Hello,
Would NCE and B.ED count as two or more certificate?

Guys please, I need help and suggestion. It feels like I'm not breathing.

I have been in this journey for a very long time without ITA, husband man has never been anywhere near support but i have been doing all I can. Now I have ITA through pnp finally and this man has refused to go to medicals with me. I can guarantee you, he does not have any questionable health issue.

Please what can I do, yes I can do spouse non-accompanying but he must do MEDICALS.

Abeg, is there a way I can get a separation document? Anyone willing to help with this or any other suggestion? Note, he says he is not against the kids travelling, says i can take the kids for medicals but i know deep down that somehow, he is not totally being truthful.

So please, main reason for this write-up, how can i proceed without him doing medicals. Please who can help arrange documents of seperation cry cry embarassed

PPR is finally here...class of 2020

My newborn arrived in March 2021. I sent numerous webforms to IRCC to inform them. He was finally added in September 2021. I also attached updated proof of funds. I used Piggyvest and 25% pension for the proof of funds, even though the funds in my Piggyvest account were sufficient

Congratulations.

Please how did you use piggyvest to show POF?

Thanks but it's not just about the strike, I'm trying to raise money right now working two jobs, so I need a course that wouldn't take my time and energy. I do not mind a six month course in IT niche, but I'll like to know if it will be valid/accepted.

Go for 2 or more then

This shouldn't be a barrier. Many people here did course that doesn't relate to their field. Bcs is IT related

Cima and accept accounting

There is cipm human resources
There's also pdg

Hi Annie,
I saw someone's advice about you doing private tutor, books, french movies and one hour a day.
Wanted to ask if you don't mind, are you single? or do you have children? do you work?

Hi guys, I must commend those keeping this thread active with great info. So I'm officially starting my journey plans with this post, and I'll appreciate your help. I have gone through the first page and understood the steps, but I'm still confused about how to start. I and my spouse have a BSC although my spouse is in the medical field. I only have less than one year working experience as I just officially begun working this year while my spouse has over 7 years working experience. I'm 31 and my spouse is 37, but I'll like to be the principal because of age advantage.

So, my question here is what other degree can I add to boost my CRS? Going for masters isn't on my plate right now because I'm working, and I intend doubling my hustle grin.

The two statement in bold does not go hand in hand. You cannot be the principal applicant with a work experience that is less than one year. The questions you should ask is what is your work experience? Is it eligible to apply for EE? Furthermore with a one year work experience in the express entry of today, you have less chances however if you have an occupation in demand in a province like Alberta and Ontario that picks directly from the pool, you may be lucky to get nominated however in the absence of that, your chances are slim as age is also no longer on your side as well. You start losing point at the age of 30 and I read you are 31 but between you and your hubby , you stand a better chance.

You can also do a short course like BCS, ACCA, CIMA, CIIN etc to claim two or more certificates or you could run a masters like someone advised earlier. In my opinion, a short course to claim two or more certificates is better because you don’t have age on your side as well. If your husband is a medical doctor, his degree will be evaluated as equivalent to a masters. French is the way now so if you have the money, time (you can create this if you’re determined), you can start learning French and take the French exams, that would boost your points too. Start by playing around with the CRS calculator. What is your NOC?

Apologies for the late post. It's been a long time coming and I was too exhausted with the wait and the mental stress I went through.

I knew about this process in 2016 then I was hoping I will make the POF from proceeds of MMM but, my money has been frozen for like forever .
After the heartbreak and no source of pof in sight I decided to chill. Fast forward to 2018 something good came then we decided to start the process with credential evaluation.
Between 2018- 2020 I wrote ielts 7 times it wasn't easy at all.
During one of the exams I had a conversation with my children:
Me: telling my kids that I will be traveling to write exams
Child: mummy is it the same exams that takes you to portharcourt?
Me: yes
Child: hmmmmmm, mummy is this how you will keep on writing this exams until you become a Grandma?
Me: laughing and crying at the same time. It was my 6th attempt then. It hurt so bad that I didn't make it but I had to tell them I didn't when the results came. Luckily I did it afterwards.

We submitted in November hoping everything will click by may 2021 but for where?
Jan 2022 we got ADR for remedicals and we did it in February. Longest silence after then when everyone was getting PPR. I wrote to cio sotay them bounce me, they asked me not to send a mail to them again.
I wrote to portal-portail, those one's to said I should stop. I disturb them Sha as I was writing at least 3 times a day. Kept on writing to RROC until I got tired myself. The anxiety was out of this world.

Las Las I got a mail on the 6th but saw it on the 7th. When I opened it and I saw something about not booking flight and that I should notify them on any changes I felt sick because I thought it was another Adr, but it wasn't.
I remain grateful to everyone here answering questions especially the 2018 crew as I learnt a lot during that time.

Kudos to ednut as he is one amongst the few that is still here helping out despite being in Canada as most people leave this forum when they move.

Very detailed! Thank you. So, I did play play with the CRS calculator and all things being equal, I'll have a total score of 466 if I and my hubby have two or more degrees which we intend to do(taking any of the courses you listed above), acing our IELTS, and 3 years experience for me. My NOC is Skilled Type O. @ the bolded, my hubby is a Pharmacist and I don't know if that will pass for masters.

I'll take the advice on learning French. Can my one year NYSC teaching experience suffice? That was in 2013-2014 anyway. Nigeria happened so I had to learn skills, and do other stuffs uptil 2021.

Hello there, letter of separation won't suffice because you will be required to show full custody letters for your kids before IRCC will answer you. Sorry that's the world we live in once you have kids and the spouse is living. Best bet will be to cajole your hubby, plead with him, manipulate him or do all of the above into taking the test with you.
He says he has no problem with the kids going then inform him IRCC wont stamp the kids visa if they don't see the fathers medicals. So you will have to leave the kids with him in Nigeria (even though you have no intention of doing so) with him while you go on to live a baby girl life in canada as a single lady with no children constraints. I bet you once he reasons sch runs, home work, sch lunches, market runs, daddy I want to wee wee, daddy Emeka poo on his body, daddy ifeanyi beat me (and so on and so forth) he will ask you to book medicals date for him.

Yes, your husband’s pharmacy degree will be evaluated as equivalent to a masters degree. However, Pharmacist have a separate evaluation body so he won’t be using Wes, he would evaluate his B.pharm with PEBC. Yes, you can use your NYSC as long as it’s within the last 10 years but we usually advice that your reference shouldn’t categorically state Nysc to be on a safe side. And if your NOC is category zero, you may want to check if it’s in demand in Ontario and if you are on the 460s range, you stand a chance of getting NOI from Ontario. However Ontario requires you to have a minimum of 1 year work experience within the last 5 years.

You posted this on the 4th of February, good to know your husband has resurfaced. However my very candid advise to you is to not do anything to jeopardize your chances in this journey. You have to do things the right way. You are looking for who to help you arrange separation document or what did I read? If you have genuine reasons to be separated from your husband, start it legally now and get a legal document binding your separation from your husband but be ready to face the hurdles of getting him to give a letter of consent to travel with kids (most usually wait till this time). If you don’t mean the separation, the only option is to let him know that him not going for medicals is going to stall your application and he needs to be supportive. He can decide to stay back and not relocate with you if he wants. You are neck deep into this to play games that would affect your application now or later in the nearest future. I wish you all the best.

Hello House,

Please I need help. Can anyone add me to the whatsapp group or share the link for whatsapp group that is for those who dropped their passports in Accra Visa Office and had to re route it to other visa office due to delay in stamping.

Can anyone provide any advice or information on recalling passport and sending to another visa office after PPR.

Thank you.
