Looks like a mud built structure that was poorly plastered. The mix ratio for the plaster could be better.

The way you guys soak yourself in this pop mixture, please try to be safety conscious. Apart from cancer, there are so many other diseases that could result from inhaling fine particles. COPD , Asthma, Bronchitis are some of them.

Note, I am not saying that POP is carcinogen .

It's actually not a mud house, it's a standard building but I think laterite or something close was used for the foundation filling before German floor was done

Not my field, but I don't think that's the best practice. They should have filled the block holes with concrete or just broken pieces of blocks, instead of laterite.

The quality of the block should be called to question. It is very unusual for termites to burrow through good quality thick concrete. Or there might have been a fault line and the termites exploited it. Abi na winch termites sent by village people? They better go bury dog for site. Some have sworn by their lives, it works against termites.

sandcrete blocks rather, when people wan mould 55 blocks with one bag of cement this is what you get.

Its not A good practice to filled block holes with laterite or any sand, that is NOT the way to do foundation earth filling.
More so foundation should be treated with anti termite chemicals before super structure is done…. How many of us does this? We are just thought this in sch we don’t put it into practice in most cases..

In your own case the terminate was imported with the lateral sand into the foundation and it’s beta to treat it now.
Don’t be surprised about how the termite created holes on those block …terminate is just like water they will find there way out from any block YES, unless if it’s special concrete block ( rear to find even in aso rock
