Perspectives. But point remains she is a brilliant player.

My point is that the Super Falcons players hold on to the ball and try to dribble but end up losing possession instead of just passing the ball and keeping it simply.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 7:49pm On Jul 14, 2022
Yes. Just like I analysed and hoped. It was indeed our first proper attempt on target that resulted in that goal after previous off target attempts.
But nope, it hasn't been all Cameroun since then. It has been balanced with few chances in between.

justicechichex:
Omoh SF scored with their first attempt on target i think. after that goal it has been all the Cameroonians. 90 mins

They're more interested in defending than making any serious play again.

Nigeria wins. WC baby!!!

Ajibade in the running for Tournament MVP no doubt.

CAF have done us a faux pas by leaving out Ajibade from the Top 10 nominees for the CAF WPOTY.
Couldn't they just wait a bit?? Dollopheaded CAF.

The best game so far

Intriguing and engaging

Cameroon gave a good fight but the falcons prevailed

Congratulations Nigeria

World cup, here we come
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by justicechichex: 7:53pm On Jul 14, 2022
How can they give just 2 mins of additional time after all those long stoppages in the 2nd half. I was expecting like minimum of 5 or 6.

Well, do i care? Not atall.

Cameroon(0)-(1)Nigeria

Rasheedat's goal is enough for the Super Falcons to beat the Indomitable Lionesses!

Well I think I should lower my expectations regarding the quality of football played by the super falcons as this is only female football. Hmmm...
Or is it the coach?

Give it up for the Babe with the most Goals contributions at Maroc 2022 with 5 (3G + 2A)

Her name, Rasheedat Ajibade.

Somehow she's missing from CAF's final 10 nominees for the WPOTY. Quite sacrilegious.

Not the best of play but exciting nonetheless.

Hey, remember this is a knockout too. It will feel really stupid if we're trying to score a second goal and they end up equalizing.

The WC ticket really made this quarter finals unnecessarily tough.

Well don"t expect too beyond their actual ability. However I must say we missed quite a number of elementary passes.

It has been difficult Breaking the Partnership between Onome and Ohale from 2010 till date..

Only Gladys Akpa during the 2012 AWCON in E/Guinea played Ohale spot in that Competition due to the fact that Ohale wasn’t available for the tournament that year, 2014 AWCON Coach Edwin Okon tried but didn’t last much using Josephine Chukwunonye at Center Back alongside Ebi then moving Ohale to the right Back spot but at the 2014 AWCON Ohale was more of a Substitute as Ugo Njoku played RB..

Onome Ebi and Ohale's partnership may be a bit slower but it's a rock. Onome has 19 years experience for the Falcons and she has led them to another World Cup. Ohale is a sweeper behind Onome and the understanding between both women is amazing

Because of the world cup ticket attached to the game the pressure was too high , of course they can do better in their build up play

The morocco game will be tough as hell. It may go to penalties. The lasers embarassed

Someone should tell the Naija fans to invest in Lasers. Three lasers per person, carry two for hand, one for mouth. An eye for an eye.

Yes I was

The world cup ticket was at stake so the girls were immense pressure. Don't forget Cameroon also brought their A game and we soaked up the pressure.

Of course not the best of games but not doubt it was engaging and explosive.

I think Morocco will be an easier game. We will dominate fully.
