Congratulations to everyone that has gotten their PPR. I tap into your testimony. I applied in March, Biometrics completed in the same month. Medical completed and reflecting on my portal on April 5th. Eligibility review started around May ending. Since then nothing. Send emails and raised webforms but Nairobi replied to only my first email stating that my application is under active review. Sent emails to MPs but they said they can't help because I am not in Canada. Yesterday makes it 30days since I applied for my gcms note. Still waiting for it. School is to Resume first week of September and I am getting worried and depressed especially seeing recent applicants getting their PPRs. Please gurus, any advice? |

Chiziteremary:Honestly it isn't a wise decision since you just got your visa and probably yet to travel.Am sure you answered NO to a portion when you were asked if any family member will be accompanying you.I will advice you get to canada first and ask for SP for her and not visitor visa. My advice is that we venture into 80% approval decision than 50/50. God will help us all as this journey is via Grace after you must have rightly perfect all things. It will end in praise |

Good day gurus in the house, I need your guidance to take a decision on my intention to study in Canada. I obtained my B.SC in Computer Science in 2015 and i have been working till date. I am looking at a two different study options (Diploma and Masters Courses) and their visa success viability which is , kindly enlighten me on the following concerns: 1. College Course in IT (Sheridan College)- I will have to source for the tuition and there is no option of study loan for this. 2. Masters in Computer Engineering (University of Manitoba)- There is loan option to finance tuition and other expense but the assurance of getting a visa due to how to show convincing strong home ties since international study loan will be involved. 3. I don't have an immediate family member sponsor, i only have someone who bears different name from my surname who has properties and fund to do it. 4. If i want to be self sponsored how much do i need as proof of fund and what are the required documents to use. I am married with two kids. Your advice will be highly appreciated. Regards. |

[10k CAD for a single person living expenses but be prepared to show more for self sponsorship. No lump sum deposit.Ability to convince the VO how you came about the fund in your account in correspondence to the work you are doing.Your wife and kid are good home-ties as long as they are not going with you and if you have other properties to show that your incentive to be in Nigeria will outweigh being in canada. Must also pay tuition fee to convince the VO and a maximum well detailed SOP that will allow the VO to flow easily with your submitted proofs of documents SOP should be well spaced out avoiding repetition in paragraphs with emphasis to refrence dates where applicable. Commit the rest to God and it will end in praise.quote author=titade0203 post=114755644]Good day gurus in the house, I need your guidance to take a decision on my intention to study in Canada. Uk is easier and faster but Canada has better prospects. You can read through the thread to know how to go.about it. I would suggest you do your application yourself for either of the countries. All the best. Elolam87: |

Somebody should help. I have done my medicals but they said it will take 10 working days to come out, meanwhile I want to submit my application soonest and I’m using Nigeria student express (fast track). Please, if I submit my application now, without medicals, will it affect it? |
