He used to look it back then ( sick) but I never linked it to him being an SS. Just thought he was a naturally slim guy. It wasn't until he got married that his looks changed and he became this chubby.
Check his older pics, he used to look very lean and pale.

He looked slim, yes, pale, never. There was no time he looked pale except we have different definitions of pale

I no longer have crisis tho just needed to gain weight that's my problem do you know what could help

Sure it was very painful for me tho I get crisis almost 4 times in a month it was very painful couldn't even do anything about it I wanted to kill myself cuz I keep buying drugs even when I no get money to chop I go still dey think of money to buy drugs it was toughest moment of my life until I start taking immunozine drugs everything just happened like magic it no longer bother me although I still do take malaria and pain relief drugs you know
My own crisis is always critical although I have a spinal injury story for another day lol but all the same am grateful for not giving up

He doesn't look it in appearance. Maybe he is SC cos most SS have this protruding tummy and pale eyes appearance.

This is saddening. Sickle Cell affects Blacks more than any other race. Affordable treatment should be common in Black countries, especially Nigeria that produced so many doctors.
