Please I need mature advice, my wife of one kid had issues at her current work(teaching) place and wants to change the job. Her friend(unmarried) introduce her to a hotel work as a receptionist. Please is it advisable to let your wife work in such environment?

It depends on the type of hotel. Is it a 4 or 5 star hotel, or is it one of the numerous "hotels" / guest house/ short time spot. If it is a 5 star hotel, I would say she can work it only if there is no night duty , better still if it is in the food and beverage section. If it is a guest house, just know say na constant flirting from randy guys. E fit lead or e fit no lead to knackings but your mind no go ever dey at peqce

It's a big hotel anyway. My obsession is that the kid will be deprived of full parental privileges. With her level of desperation, she'll will be tempted only matter of time. I feel for the kid

Op even said she chose the job, that means your wife is a strong head and is willing to challenge you for your position as the head of the family, Mr man once you allow her to take, the job ur home will never remain the same again.

Depends on the kind of hotel and the people coming there. If it's 5 or 4 star hotel, I don't see anything wrong with with that.
But all this mushroom short 'rest' guest house is a NO NO!

Only difference is class of people that'll express interest.
More difficult to say no to a HNI, knowing fully well that extended patronage depends on your response.

sounds fictional to me , but if it's real I think you should call it off , because if you continue it will open room for more disrespect

If she's still adamant, divorce her. Such job for a married woman is not ideal especially in a country with bad economy and insecurity.

The one I mentioned are better organized with better pay and comes with HMO. Good organizational policy where their staff are protected and also the customer. Avoid too much exposure of staff to client, cash payment are at their nearest minimum, for some tips are calculate base on the number of service render to a client while some are direct and also staff bus. Not all these big for nothing hotel that don't respect the staff well being. Even expect you to trade your body for cash and also freaking delay your salary as when due. No hmo, no leaves, shift is irregular, no periodic training like in a year or every six months. God forbid bad thing.

No matter how decent your wife is, please dont expose her to such temptation she might not be able to overcome it..be gurded.

If ur friends, family, church members, ur colleagues at work ask you where ur wife work, what will you tell them, apart from immoralities, where did you want to place ur ego as a man? Even she doesn't engage, what will people be saying?

Thre are so many lesser decent job that wife can be doing that will bring dignity to the husband, hotel of any kind not belong ooo

I vowed to dissolve the marriage if she does. Two cannot work together unless they agree. I believe she her friend is working on her mental. She even told me her friend bought a car working as a receptionist

you are now at a crossroad in your marriage that it is difficult to back down without losing respect,if she choose the job over the marriage simply let her go if you can,if you don't then she will regard you as a spineless coward and be ready to stay a whole weekend without seeing your wife,it is obvious to you and everybody reading this post that the main aim of your wife is to make money and be like her friend the receptionist that bought a car,with such mindset selling her body is least of what she can do for money,I am afraid your wife has very low morals to even contemplate such demeaning work and disrespect her husband on top,that her friend is a very bad influence on your wife
