Schemerkhiz:

The Superfalcons will definitely play a double Pivotal Midfield of Halimatu Ayinde and Christy Ucheibe... Mouady should be ready to battle with this two because she will definitely pass through the Midfield and Flank which Ucheibe is there to run her down tirelessly..

Again Ngozi Okobi defensive side of her game have improved a lot so we have got this...

If we can cut out their passing Link from the Midfield then we're good to good... Tony Payne is also quick enough to withstand that pressure...

Onome Ebi is going to have it with Rosane Ayani as Ohale will be the Cleaner behind her as she's quicker...

All the better for Ebi then. Ohale is up to the task. I dunno if Okobi will be saddled with defensive duties if we play that two pivot system then.

Its now about the attack playing as a unit that remains. They have tooo few passes among all three of them since Wafcon began. I hope Ify is not isolated tonight.

I'd like to see Kanu start ahead of Ordega on that LW.. We need her pace and dribbling to trouble their defence...
provided she's unselfish. We need to be absolutely clinical and converting any chance we get.

Our players should have at the back of their minds that the Moroccan fan will use laser on them o, especially, when the game will be played at night, so we should make sure that the game does not go to penalties.

Oshoala got injured, if Oparanozie was in this tournament she would have been the major Substitute to Onumonu if she doesn’t start…

You better not write her off…

Oparanozie is just 28yrs

I dunno why they write Desire off. She's still a force in any forward line we can muster, whether as sub or as starter. I know she's waned overtime but she still scares defenders once the ball is at her feet. That tag can barely be attributed to our current attackers.

Senegal vs Tunisia match in pictures...

This Senegalese Ladies always make me to remember the German squad of 2007 to 2015. Very big, tall, fast and physical..

They really need to step up cause they’re far below..
They should employ Mama Florence. She will transform them to a force to fear.

Suddenly,Zambia's social media fans have overtaken South Africa as the noisiest fans in the tournament...

Their confidence is way over the roof...
Allow them. They deserve it much more to me than the SA ladies. That Senegal game will ginger any team in Zambia's shoes that night. Test of Endurance and Tact. But everywhere go quiet if SA do dem strong silent beating.

As long as the Falcons hold possession and ensure they do not commit unnecessary fouls in our half, we should be fine.

The Moroccans have so far scored 7 goals in this competition; 3 from penalties (terrible calls), 3 from set pieces (with terrible defending) and one from open play. Their goalkeeper is also terrible quite frankly, keeping possession has ensured she isn't tested much and the few times she has she's been terrible.

We just need to ensure we keep possession, and of course resist the urge to commit fouls in our half and we should be fine

Make Ucheibe and Ayinde test her from outside box. We've barely utilized that aspect so far.

Zambia should be 1-0 up by now. Nice Counter attack.

Martha Tembo will finish this Wafcon as the best LB imo. She defends, counters and attacks and recovers fast. 3 SA players on her side yet she's getting the better of them.

SA attack is through Sepeonswe only. Nothing big yet, save the Zambia chance

It's safe to say the Zambians weren't just making mouth .

Grace Chanda should have buried that. Zambia in control. SA are using the long balls approach. Midfield is not clicking

If she's added, they'll have a great World Cup. Who knows sha. This tactics Zambia is using is working well against SA. Just that Chanda is isolated. Looks like a 451, sometimes 4312.

looks like SA plan is locate Cesane and Sepeo. It's not working currently. More bodies forward and Zambia will clinch the spot

If FIFA should clear Banda to play at the world cup, CAF won't hear the last of it from the Zambiansgrin..

One thing I've noticed about Zambians is that during almost every major tournament, they always have an excuse of bias against them... At 2017 u-20 AFCON that they won, their complaint was that the West Africans brought juju to their country cheesy .. 2018 world cup qualifiers in which we beat them, they complained that they were robbed of a goal in Uyo that was ruled out for offside....
Funny people grin

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 6:50pm On Jul 18, 2022
What a First Half.

The 9, 10, 11 of Zambia are really doing some extra work. Their midfielders are not really following behind. They for don get options and goals by now. Sepeo don dey dey frustrated. Imagine Refiloe Jane can't bury that dummy pass!!? Chai. Inside box 18 o!!
