Hello Guys.
I am wondering if I can get help how to go about this issue below.

I took uber from Somolu to my house and the cost was N6,700 and I transferred N67,000 mistenkenly to the driver's Fidelity bank account.
I latter called the Uber driver that same day to inform him about it and he checked his account and confirmed that he recieved the money but that it has not reflected in his balance.

He latter told me that he called his bank customer support and they said that that account was opened online and cannot recieved more than N50,000 inflow and because I sent N67,000 it will be pending until he goes to the bank and provide his ID card and other informtion before he can have access to the money.

He sent me a screenshot to prove that and said that he will go to his bank tomorrow if it did not reflect in his balance.

Tomorrow being Friday, he went to his banks and after I have calling him severally, he told me that the bank said that one of the name in his Drivers license does not match the name on the account and that he has to brid ID card that matches the name.

He said the he will go and do NIN and take back to the back.
I kept calling his to find out if he has done that but he couldn't pick.
Then on Saturday, I called him, he latter answered and said that he was not able to do the NIN because people are so much there in Ketu and that he will do the NIN and get to the bank and then send me back my money.

Going to 2 weeks now, he is not picking my call.
Tried to use Uber App support and Uber said they can only support on their in-app payment.

Anybody have an idea of a way I can reach Uber customer support on phone or another way I can get back my money from this guy.

Thanks

Very bad. He has no excuse.
Drop evidence of the trip, evidence of payment and his phone number.

I have said it before now, vehicles will end up being recycled on bolt because no one is going to buy a tokunbo and put on bolt. Someone said he came to lagos to buy a corolla and the average cost was between 3.5-3.8m. Who will put that on bolt?

The bright side is that it will eventually translate into more earnings for drivers.

Were it not for indriver taking some share of the market, I believe drivers would have been seeing significant difference in earnings....or maybe they are ;Dalready. Drivers here no dey ever gree say dem make money cheesy

By the way, it has been long I've seen anyone complain about a dull day here. I remember how people used to return home out of frustration. Looks like that is now a thing of the past.

Winter is over, drivers are recovering & lounging.
remember it was this same time last year mr cheerful posted 900+ and assumed sept - Dec will gel like July but with bolt never consistent earning.

Btw see as d guy yab Felicity in the dashboard post below. God forgive him for this grin

Lekki surely have a better road, but they are roads in Lekki you should learn to draw the line or find a way to connect. Sangotedo is completely out of it. Outside the right side off Lekki coming from Mainland, forget anything from Silverbird road to Orchid, leaving Oral and LCH out of this. The Domino's Pizza road is good as well and there's another back route to connect into Ologolo proper, but it is best to always avoid that side. When rain pours? Just try and avoid anything Kusenla downward. Avoid Oye Balogun estate as well. Non of this will stop you from meeting target, with patient, you will achieve what you set out for.

I don mark them for Ugochukwu Orji like this.I went to pick a trip there like 2 months. Normally I won't go for such, but I got a request from Chevron to VI 2400 from Agungi, as I was about turning at Osapa traffic light, rider cancelled (that thing has a sharp pain in the body system). I almost swear for her... Just inbtw that, another trip from U. Orji came 2500 to VI and there's this way Indriver will display the 10mins and you will feel it's not far, just do the fast finger to suppress previous pain. The was how I picked the trip and realize it's a no go area. Tots of losing 500h to indriver won't let me cancel, need to leave Lekki to go position in Vi won't let me. Spend more than 20 mins to pick up, them no born rider well to cancel. She end up picking bike to meet me at a point. She was frowning, I too did same thro out the trip.

On the 3rd of July, I had an accident in adelabu, I drive a Toyota corolla, why the person that hit me was driving a camry, I will post pictures below this comment. Now the camry was at fault and he acknowledged this by saying he will fix my damaged vehicle regardless of his own car that was almost a write off. Now the damages in my car was the bumper , grill and the handle of the headlamp got broken , and was practically fixable . Now I called the owner of my car, informing him about the accident and he insisted on seeing the vehicle

After seeing the vehicle, he asked the guy to buy a new headlamp, mind u the headlamp didn't break , just the handle, even after seeing the state of the other guys vehicle. The guy told him he can't buy new one when this one's can be fixed! Later on the owner told him to do what he can do ....

Now he fixed this car , to the extent u won't know the car had an accident, and I took this car to the owner only for him to collect the car from me that I let him do whatever he wants that he wants a new headlamp and grill and bumper .

Now I'm out of Job because I had a human sympathy

How many times have mentioned it here, if you're in rental or HP what these owners want is their car and their weekly deliveries.
Should anything happens to the car outside theft man and handle it otherwise kiss that car good bye.

What do you expect the owner to do b4, give you the car so that the next accident will wreck the car totally? Especially, when most of them don't have comprehensive? Even those that have don't have faith in them.
Even our American black Afro musician uncle don't have comprehensive let alone we us that don't have levelsgrin

Is the Camry guy also an Uber? If no, inform him of what happened... that's if you've his contact...You never can tellgrin

Newbies that have refused to learn from elders experiences

It was just last week here I shared an experience of how I asked some guys to meet me along the isheri oshun expre Rd with screen shoot of their pick-up which is that Abaranje road.

They did bike to meet me up... If they had refused it would have only cost my 1 DS simple.

Okay, I'd also said here severally, if you're taking a trip to a place you're not familiar with. Have an agreement with the rider to end the trip if you no more feel comfortable with the road. Simple!

But una get coconut head

So when I see such child I don't bother to warn them a 2nd or 3rd time instead I allow them to put their hands into the fire so they will know it burns. So next time you can be confident leaving same child close to the fire without any supervision.grin

Bros sorry about your ordeal but the truth is obvious and I know it's difficult to let it go but that is the only option at your disposal right now unless you just want to stress yourself because not even the police can help you with this case since the principal partner Uber refused to assist them there is absolutely nothing anyone one can do.
