Peter might have been facing a different situation but the belief that Jesus was coming soon is the same. Even when Jesus had to minister to thousands he didn't ask for a fancy auditorium so what has changed?

The subsequent verses make it plain to believers that they are not to take a clingy view of anything because Jesus is coming soon.

This is the same thing as leaving all to follow Christ. We all know and proclaim that Christ is coming soon. Getting improved whether personally or collectively, either financially or otherwise is NOT clingy. You can see forsake ALL, leave ALL and still own houses, lands etc. Why on earth will Jesus be promising hundredfold of land or houses to anyone if according to your understanding, they don't need it?

What about the schools nation wide employing people, covenant university and landmark,faith academy, publishing house,staffs employed in different church location and pastors under the church payroll. The construction alone will generate jobs to local workers as it was awarded to a Nigerian. Don't make research and keep talking what you do not know. If it is easy go and start a church from the scratch. Focus on learning from those who work hard to achieve success and stop complaining.
