Lekki surely have a better road, but they are roads in Lekki you should learn to draw the line or find a way to connect. Sangotedo is completely out of it. Outside the right side off Lekki coming from Mainland, forget anything from Silverbird road to Orchid, leaving Oral and LCH out of this. The Domino's Pizza road is good as well and there's another back route to connect into Ologolo proper, but it is best to always avoid that side. When rain pours? Just try and avoid anything Kusenla downward. Avoid Oye Balogun estate as well. Non of this will stop you from meeting target, with patient, you will achieve what you set out for.

I don mark them for Ugochukwu Orji like this.I went to pick a trip there like 2 months. Normally I won't go for such, but I got a request from Chevron to VI 2400 from Agungi, as I was about turning at Osapa traffic light, rider cancelled (that thing has a sharp pain in the body system). I almost swear for her... Just inbtw that, another trip from U. Orji came 2500 to VI and there's this way Indriver will display the 10mins and you will feel it's not far, just do the fast finger to suppress previous pain. The was how I picked the trip and realize it's a no go area. Tots of losing 500h to indriver won't let me cancel, need to leave Lekki to go position in Vi won't let me. Spend more than 20 mins to pick up, them no born rider well to cancel. She end up picking bike to meet me at a point. She was frowning, I too did same thro out the trip.

More why I like mainland. I kinda know where I am going to and the condition.

Then I think about a return trip.

I never master the art of lekki so anything away from lekki 2 I become paranoid because of lagoo.

It was just last week here I shared an experience of how I asked some guys to meet me along the isheri oshun expre Rd with screen shoot of their pick-up which is that Abaranje road.

They did bike to meet me up... If they had refused it would have only cost my 1 DS simple.

Okay, I'd also said here severally, if you're taking a trip to a place you're not familiar with. Have an agreement with the rider to end the trip if you no more feel comfortable with the road. Simple!

Hello Guys.
I am wondering if I can get help how to go about this issue below.

I took uber from Somolu to my house and the cost was N6,700 and I transferred N67,000 mistenkenly to the driver's Fidelity bank account.
I latter called the Uber driver that same day to inform him about it and he checked his account and confirmed that he recieved the money but that it has not reflected in his balance.

He latter told me that he called his bank customer support and they said that that account was opened online and cannot recieved more than N50,000 inflow and because I sent N67,000 it will be pending until he goes to the bank and provide his ID card and other informtion before he can have access to the money.

He sent me a screenshot to prove that and said that he will go to his bank tomorrow if it did not reflect in his balance.

Tomorrow being Friday, he went to his banks and after I have calling him severally, he told me that the bank said that one of the name in his Drivers license does not match the name on the account and that he has to brid ID card that matches the name.

He said the he will go and do NIN and take back to the back.
I kept calling his to find out if he has done that but he couldn't pick.
Then on Saturday, I called him, he latter answered and said that he was not able to do the NIN because people are so much there in Ketu and that he will do the NIN and get to the bank and then send me back my money.

Going to 2 weeks now, he is not picking my call.
Tried to use Uber App support and Uber said they can only support on their in-app payment.

Anybody have an idea of a way I can reach Uber customer support on phone or another way I can get back my money from this guy.

Thanks

It's 24 hours now and you've not gotten any real help, except maybe from one!...Someone even advice that you let go, 60k ooo; quite unfortunate.

The drivers here knows what to do, atleast they can "TRY"....But they don't care because it is one of them...Deep down, some of them are happy that one of dem don scam successfully...if it's the other way round and someone took their 900 naira, they will post the person papa, mama and ancestors join..An average naija has criminal tendency, they only react if they are not the one enjoying the loot, or atleast one of them.....

I can see you are the reference point here
Pearl1910 replied you to indirectly talk to pope191
Pope to replied your post to respond grin
Dru23 replied your post to tell tales that ain’t true about me
So let me reply dru23 too grin

I bought my Toyota Camry myself when I came on 2wks vacation, (2012). I wanted Honda Evil spirit but saw the Camry very cheap. I paid for it and shipping to Lagos while I continue jollof.
Uber money can’t buy me ticket + car + shipping + clearing. Never ever.
I did Uber/bolt 2019 for few months and realized it wasn’t for me.
grin
Wether you like it or not I come to U.S every summer until (APC change came with bad luck)
Let’s leave that aside.

I agreed with dru & pearl that Uber “put body and soul together ( only food&bills no savings not even house rent)“ cause I can’t ask anybody for money and was deceived that I can net 350k easily, month in month out. grin

I was a big boy to the core but dropped it and started moving olosho 700 naira trip with plenty abuse because I can’t beg to eat and stay home idle.
I just smiled when MrJaydee dress tight said he wants to size me up grin

My point and reason why I castigate Uber, is that I would never had started driving Uber if I knew how hard it is to net 350k that you will see in your bank account not the audio one on dashboards. (Dashboard posting scammed me and that’s why I kept dragging with cheerful so nobody else is fooled) when I started I had 1M plus in my account, bought brand new tyres, baked whole car and was thinking it’s a good investment, that I will earn 350k monthly. For where I keep seeing money on dashboards and nothing in my account… no be juju be that grin grin?

After driving Uber I was poorer
financially,
mentally,
physically
and
emotionally.

All said and done Uber is good for someone who is already down and don’t have option to put food on table.

It’s all about making legit money as long as we don’t want to steal or do fraud
.

You are not wise sir/ma,
Acusing people on this thread, even the dumbest fvck knows that police can resolve this if the driver is not responding, so far the rider has proof of transaction and trip.

Plus, they've requested he drop details for follow up and he's yet to do.

So sir/ma, don't be unfortunate.

In country useless like naija, side hustle go turn to main job.

The parts that trips me is when some people say they resign main job to be driving Uber… how now ?
How long can you drive before you retire ?
How can you feed your family, pay bills, school fees , house rent and still save to buy another car (add to fleets).
Or no be dis same hustle and Lagos we dey ?

Though Musa don break record ,
apart from Musa who else can do it ?

My prayer is that we all get something better asap.

If you work inside AC office or Business and your salary/profit comes with peace of mind at the end of the month/week.
You go just see as you go dey fresh and handsome.

Why hasn't Uber itself helped him by placing a lien on the driver's earnings? It's simple: cash or card is the approved payment method, anything outside of it is your own personal business. Drivers get scammed here because of transfers, it's difficult to park in public places in Lagos and wait for alert, so many driver's have lost their wages as a result of this.

When they tell you to hold your cash before your enter ride, e get why. You no fit enter danfo dey tell driver say na transfer you wan use pay.
