Please HELP!!! I own a Lexus Es350 '08 and whenever I start the car in the morning I hear a cranking or grinding sound as soon as the engine starts, Then if I turn it off immediately and start the engine again it doesn't make the noise. But when I leave it for a long time (usually 3-4 hours) and I start the engine I hear the same sound again. What can be the cause?

Also my dashboard is like a Christmas Tree, the error lights are all on, I have taken the car to a mechanic they scanned the car, we repaired everything (ABS, serviced the airbags, Pumped my tires to the recommended psi) the only thing I couldn't repair was the catalyst, STILL THE error lights are still on, and they won't clear.

Finally I always fix one suspension problem every month, if I repair shaft this month, I'll repair Shock pad next month, then linkage the next month.

I love this car but the problems are starting to get too much.

I used to drive a corolla and I don't feel any difference in the money I spend on fuel. I normally buy 3k fuel every week for my corolla if I maintain my daily routine, I still buy 3k fuel every week for my Lexus.

I haven't changed anything on it apart from the brake pads

Anywhere I can get my car scanned in Enugu, please? My car is misfiring-struggling to pick acceleration. I don’t know if it’s from the injector being blocked or exhaust being block, or one or two of the coils not working . I don’t know. I need it scanned to know what’s exactly is wrong with it.

Hello house, I have this 07 es350 I rarely ride. I do remove the battery terminal head to avoid the battery from running down. I would like to know if there is any implication removing the battery head. Thanks

u can just warm the car every 3 days instead of removing the battery

Stop buying used parts.

Don't buy linkage of 2500.

Buy OEM parts going forward.

It won't be cheap but it won't keep you in the loop you have got yourself in.

stop buying used shafts they are just rubbish, new is better but it will cost u a 100k plus

Hi guys. I got a tokumbo rx 350 2008 2gr engine. Since I bought my car. The car short oil at least one quarts for the first 3000 miles. What could be the cause of this oil shortage. I’m not in Lagos and I don’t know where 7&8 is, but have a competent technician check that car.

Worn out top cylinder seals,flat and expired.

Buy a personal scanner. I can get you one for 20k. It's for life. Works on any car,does not use battery,USB pin. From what u said,its either faulty fuel pump,failing fuel pump or failing injector mouth/body.

Well so long as you are using the correct specified oil and you really are noticing leaks please fix it. The leak may seam little but allow a competent mechanic to determine that because the specified oil will leak out easily due to its lightness and the engine will dry out the ones that leaked giving you a facade as though it isn't much but since it's 1 quart every 3k miles which actually isn't too bad and you don't want a quack to end your cars life then you can top it every 3k miles . Jus ensure you check your oil level every week or biweekly.

I stay at Ejigbo which is close to 7&8 and I sell scan tools for 5k. Avoid driving the car till you scan and get it fixed and I hope and pray that you have been using Toyota's recommend transmission fluid. Though this issue can be caused by anything
