....thats actually old buka, new buka is set up in a modern way, i remember a good friend that used to drag me to go eat pounded yam at old buka...lol...

As popular as Iya Egin was, I never ate there. If I had to eat out, I will either eat at A2 or A4 at new buka or at wrist, eat risky burger.

My guy you are very uninformed. First of all, I've been here for more than 16 years.

Second of all, most people in the US see Nigerians as very smart, hardworking, intelligent, and rich. You know why? They tell me that
their nurse is Nigerian, their Doctor is Nigerian, their teacher in the University is Nigerian, the smartest person in their class in University was a Nigerian, and the list goes on. Whenever I go to a hospital, I look at the wall and see a bunch of Nigerian Doctors and Nurses listed there.

Most blacks in top Universities here are Nigerians or Nigerian descent. One of the most successful ethnic groups in America are Nigerians.

I get more opportunities in the States because of my Nigerian background. Even Black Americans complain that the white men treat us better. And I've had conversations with some whites that prefer Africans, because we are more focused and easier to get along with. But I always make sure to point out that the Black Americans have a good reason to be pissed, though they need to do a better job at channeling that anger to get a better result.

Please guys, try not to lecture someone who lives in a country, based on what you hear online. You dey talk like say I just left Nigeria yesterday. If you read my thread, then you should know that I left Nigeria at age 18, and I'm 46 now. Experience ti pko ju! grin

And by the way, I'm from Abia State, but grew up in Lagos.

I was almost tempted to respond to him. You were missed on Sunday at the soccer field.

Went to a Chinese Buffet with my brother. It was like $10 per person.

The food looked and tasted good. I could only handle two plates.

What is your secret when dealing with a buffet?

Below are my first and second plates.

I start with vegetable salad/coleslaw and then focus on seafood. I do enjoy sushi too. Not sure I will be able to feast at buffet like I used to back in the days.

What year did you leave Ife? I still don't know why they forced/ moved everyone to New Buka? They destroyed Sports market too and I'm guessing they might have done the same for Anglo-Moz market too.
.... I left in 2011.....sports market burnt downif I remember correctly.

That's a great idea. Only that the fish and meat always looks so delicious that it's hard to wait. lol

With the way you write feast, I'm sure the buffet joints they lose money every time you show face lol

You thread is most interesting thing I read since joining naira land, the pictures makes everything quite captivating. How were you able to cope with language barrier in Uruguay and Netherland?

Why are you snapping pictures with women's ass in full display. I could sue you for this and get you deported. Be warned.
I am a minor and as such posting these pictures here constitute illegal and unjust harassment.

Do you want to spend the rest of your old age in Chicago prisons?
And your type was supporting the dude who was videoing and harassing aregbesola in New York the other day.

In Uruguay I had to learn fast. Though people were very nice and took time to explain things with hand gestures. And there were times we misunderstood each other.

Like when these old ladies said “como andas?” Which means “how are you?” But I understood “come and dance” so I became very shy and embarrassed because I didn’t want to dance with these old women at the door as they came to visit us. Lol

In the Netherlands, most of them speak good English, so it made learning Dutch very difficult, because it was hard to practice. My girlfriend didn’t even talk to me much in Dutch.

Thank you for your compliments.

Re: From Oshodi To Las Vegas - Pix by naijamanyoutube(m): 5:30pm On Jul 25, 2022
It's good you talked about saving, because few hours ago, I was thinking about what could people in Nigeria do to improve their chances of achieving some goals like traveling out of the country or just having more money.

And the solution I came up with is thinking outside the box.

Here is an example: Learn to bake something simple and tasty, then have a catchy design on it. For example the flag of USA or UK, or Sweden.
An attractive flag. You want to sell the idea that buying your cookies, will increase their chances of going to those countries.

Make sure to keep the price low, a price that people will pay without thinking too much.

And when you embark on this journey, document it with video and post on your YouTube channel, so people can follow your journey, and you also give yourself a chance to make money from YouTube.

Make sure that your videos obey Youtube's rules if you hope to make money from it in the future, so avoid playing music in your videos.

The bottomline is that in a Country like Nigeria, where many feel that there are not many opportunities, you have to focus on buying the raw materials and create something you can sell for more money. I have other ideas I can share later.
