I just realized I can’t cope with the way the country keeps going downhill. Pls help, I can start applying as soon as today once I get your suggestions
For the deposit, I’ll pay with my DOM account, so I won’t have to wait for FORM A. Is it still feasible?

Just thought to share an idea with you since you said you have some money in your DOM account. If you eventually have to wait till January, you can sell your dollars at black market rate and then try to pay with form A. Saves you a lot of dollars.

This only apply if you eventually have to wait till January.

You can get there 9am and if you're lucky, they'll actually let you enter even if it's not your time, provided it's your day. But you can aim to get there between 12-12:30pm, so you can enter with the 1pm people.

Escalations are done when it is past the recommended decision wait times,for student visa (3weeks) dependants (3-6weeks)

When you make a paid call or send a mail and you are advised it is still awaiting decision inform the representative on the phone that it is past the wait time and you will want this escalated, sometimes it is done automatically without requesting

It favours those that earn foreign currencies cause I do. Say you have 1000 dollars, you exchange via black market, then use the Naira you now have for form A. The risk involved is; You may not get form A and may need to exchange back at black market rate, but it won't be that much of a difference. It's a risk worth taking.

Pls what can be done if decision has been made on an application and there is delay in movement to VAC.

She is a Single Applicant.

10 working days has passed and an escalation was done yesterday (Tuesday), only for the applicant to receive a mail that it has been escalated and she should wait for 15working days before contacting UKVI.

All she wants now is her passport, decision has been made over 2weeks now.

Is there anything that can be done on this?

Yes for a year and then you need to switch to the UK license

My question however is

1. Do you have experience driving right-hand
2. Do you know the road signs and rules for driving in the UK

3. You also have to pay the relevant fees i.e insurance, road tax and MOT

4. If you flaunt the rules you can start to accrue points without getting a UK license

My advise will be to get the provisional license, unlearn and relearn the driving skills and rules for UK,do the theory and practical test and pass them and then get your car

Does she need her passport to travel elsewhere? Otherwise she should please be patient

It all started in 2015...
I tried study visa in Australia it failed...
In 2017-2018 , i tried
America , student visa , failed.. i studied this tread back to back and fail at four attempt for American student visa.
Seriously, i gave up on anything visa or studying abroad..
It was my younger brother who begged me to pls try uk , i said i have family and cant be throwing money away like this ...
In 2022 i reluctantly tried that of Uk student visa and came back to this tried again..
This time , i was just reading as usual and expecting to have the same results...
Note i already have 17 years study after my BSC...
To God be the glory my uk student visa landed today... It seems to me like a dream.
For all those awaiting visa, yours will come through soonest and you will testify too.
