Guys I watched some clips of Michael olise. The boy is very good. Exactly what we need for the RW. He's better than Antony IMO he's tall and strong already has premier League experience. His release clause is just 35m this is type of signing we should be getting not Antony |

French and Spanish clubs are currently in contact with #mufc and Alex Telles’s entourage regarding a potential transfer, talks are ongoing. [@JonathanShrager] |

Ellexy:He's not Dutch or a player/ former player of Ajax, I doubt ETH will want him. The kind of unhyped talented smart signings man u should be making. |

Ellexy:Seriously I don't even like Antony. He doesn't have the killer factor of most wingers. Premier League defenders will eat him. He couldn't even get past malacia during their game with feyenord. Michael olise will give us better option we don too much get short players for the team |

Oasis007:He had family issues. His child was ill and he’s back in Manchester. This was the same person that lost a son last season and he still came back to fight for the team. Meanwhile, you have liabilities like Luke Shaw who fakes injury every October/November so he can have all the time to play COD on PlayStation. Shaw has failed this club for 8 consecutive years except for about 3 months of good form when Telles was first signed. He’s an idol at the club and almost untouchable by many of you fans. United fans destroy their heroes and elevate the bastårds at the club. When he plays on Sunday, you can bet he would still outperform those that have reported for preseason. CR7 is a machine and let’s be frank, if he wants to be worshipped at Old Trafford, he’s earned the right to be worshipped. |

Illimitable:Sometimes I ask myself if it's a Nigerian thing that we always, always argue from a point of pointing fingers at others, which just weakens your argument further. Cristiano Ronaldo has disappointed the club with his actions. He disrespected the fans whoring himself around and what do you do.. "look at Shaw!" No go back to Di Maria, Go back to Rooney, Go Back to Ronaldo's first stint when he basically said he was a slave since you want to do "what about ism". Stick to the premise. Ronaldo does not deserve to be welcome back with any speck of respect. His fan boys can worship him all they want but those who know Ronaldo is all about Ronaldo can tell you he is as much a mercenary as the other mercenaries that have played for us. So to hell with him, his team and let the manager build a fast playing team without some knobhead acting like he created football. |

patrickmuf:I haven't really watched him but he has rarely been capped by either France or England at youth level (almost every rated player gets capped) AND his stats right from youth football to senior football are actually not that impressive. Very suspicious facts IMO. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 8:58am On Jul 30, 2022 |
afrodoc2:I have watched him a couple of times and one thing is clear from the games I have seen, he is very good at getting past his marker... Viera for some reason prefers players who are strong and defensively inclined that's why Olise and Eze who is another very good player in the Palace rank don't play as much games...I rate Olise and Eze highly, with good coaching and good work rate, those two will go on to do big things... |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 9:24am On Jul 30, 2022 |
patrickmuf:Fair enough. Like i said you have the advantage over me in that you have seen full games of his while i only have YouTube comps but even before Vieira he wasn't scoring goals or even creating loads of assists even at Championship or Academy level where most really talented players stat pad like crazy. Then he was ignored at Under-15, Under-16, Under-17, Under-19, Under-21 level by both England and France until only recently when he got Under-21 call up by France at 20. You might be right and he could be a late bloomer but all these are red flags i can pick out without watching his game like you have. |

Mikechinos:All your statements are mere speculative assumptions. How many times did United make top3 since the end of SAF era? 2013/14 = 7th 2014/15 = 4th 2015/16 = 5th 2016/17 = 6th 2017/18 = 2nd 2018/19 = 6th 2019/20 = 3rd 2020/21 = 2nd 2021/22 = 6th The above statistics shows that United has always been an unserious club and the fact that United finished 2nd a season prior doesn't make it unreasonable to finish 6th the next season (it has already happened before). Blaming Ronaldo for United coming 6th and talking shit about him changing your playing style is just shit talks. Why didn't he affect Madrid's attack when they were three peating the UCLs or winning 4 UCLs in 5 years while being their top scorer? Why didn't he affect Juve's attack when he won the scudetto in 2/3 seasons? After he later left Juve what became of thier attack? Did their league position change? Seriously, I can agree that maybe Ronaldo in a team must bring tactical changes but it is similar to every great players. The messi, Ibrahimovic, Suarez, Neymars of the world in your team means the coach have to switch the team tactics a little to fit them. Why? Because they are the best in the business of playing football. The problem lies in the coach bringing the best in the whole team with these players. But in Manchester United case last season failure was mostly based on poor overall performance of the entire squad. Geez! How anyone reasonable would still spill the trash line: "Ronaldo killed United attack last season" after his heroic performances vs Spurs (both legs), Arsenal (both legs), Norwich, Brighton, Chelsea, UCL group stages etc. If maybe other players deliver half of such performances, maybe top3 would have been certain for United. Cheers (sorry for the epistle though.) |

So for the Last 9 seasons united only made top4 four times and sir Ole was responsible for 2 of them. He even did it back to back. We miss you jara ![]()

Just to be clear, I myself fault Ronaldo for wanting to leave United in this rebuilding phase to save his own personal glory. As a United fan, one would have loved to see his legend help the club in these trying times and with a new coaching philosophy, try to return them back to glory. Ronaldo might be selfish to want to leave for a club who would provide a better chance for glory (in trophies, UCL participation, and probable goals tally). You can rebuke him for being selfish but it makes little sense to try to make him the enemy for last season shambles. After all, the fans and club voted him as your best player for the season. How can your POTY winner be the major cause of your disasterclass season? Make it make sense, please. Anyway looks like no one is coming for Ronaldo so maybe with time both parties (Pro Ronaldo and Anti Ronaldo) will work together once the season starts. After all, once Ronaldo is back scoring goals with ETH ball, the screams of Suiiiiiiii will be littered all over this thread. Both parties win. Ronaldo or no Ronaldo, ETH ball is here to cook. Only that my prediction reduce from top3 and a cup win (with Ronaldo) to a top4 (without Ronaldo). Because I believe with Ronaldo staying, a fresh Martial and Rashford would run riot in the europa and cup fixtures giving United a better chance to win those trophies as against if those guys are regular 90mins starters in every competition. If Ronaldo leaves, maybe the Sesko can come in as a striking option but I won't put much hope on the young lad. |

Ajax will receive a pay-off every time Lisandro Martinez takes the field for Manchester United as part of the transfer that took the Argentine to Old Trafford. The Mirror reports that United will pay out £56,000 a game for the first 30 games Martinez plays each season, which could set them back up to £1.7million per year for the five years his contract has to run. Can Someone explain this?? What kind of bonus is this? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 11:23am On Jul 30, 2022 |
Ihebu4chelsea:That is not a bonus really but what is called add-ons. They can come in terms of games played, competitions won, or for a forward it could be goals scored e.t.c |
