This is my life story..I've decided to share them so we can all learn one thing or the other.

Pls forgive my unintelligence and the inability to properly articulate myself in the Queen's language..I lack accurate grammatical construction, spellings, right word choices, punctuations and poetic devices..I plead with you to not mind all those things but the plot and the hook of my memoir.

This story recounts my experiences as a teacher:my ups and dows and other experiences..My triumph; my setbacks; my successes and failure all have something to teach.


I'm a teacher considered as the best teacher by almost all the students/pupils I taught..Also considered a mentor by many who sought for my mentorship.

My younger sister kept persuading me to apply to schools but i outrightly rejected that.I hated to be a teacher with passion..I considered local farming more lucrative than teaching.

I graduated from high school in 2015 with my younger sister and I remained idle..Grace my younger sister, a young beautiful, intelligent, hard-working/smart-working, and all-round perfectionist didn't setle for less, she went hustling, hunting for jobs since we didn't learn any trade.I in the other hand was lazy, reluctant with no prospect for future.I was only waiting for dad to provide.


In early 2016 my sister forcibily took my waec result, junior waec(BEC abi BCE) and first school leaving certificate, photocopied them and forced me to write my cover letter.I reluctantly drafted my cover letter, bought an envelope and sealed my application.I never wanted to go but Grace said there's no way..We went off and straight to the school..The madam interviewed me and during the interview Grace told her how I was in the womb for 2yrs.

"He must be something else" she said it exclaimatory and we all went reeling in laughter.

That same day she employed me and I started my work with imediate effect..I could recall that i was given pri 2 to teach while Grace was assigned to teach in nursery one.

When i started the kids understood my teaching..More is the fact that i was playful and kind.I don't frown..I moved liked girls and they would laugh.."Uncle is moving like a girl" they said..At break time they would come around my table and bombard it with their launch boxes.They soround me at any slight mistake and i was enjoying their presence like sugar.

There was a girl in that class that doesn't like me at all..Her name was Irene.No matter what i do she would frown her face and not smile.She had always said that she prefered their former teacher over me..That was completely unexpected as all the class liked me so much.
