dante4845:you should start with a thorough full system scan. kindly get a tech with a capable scan tool. scan all modules available on the vehicle. and carefully analyse based on error codes stored. ensure you save or atleast snap all the codes read. Assuming there is no engine damage, na to just find better mechanic wey fit diagnose the issue. |

dante4845:I suggest you perform scan of the DME and TCM because there are many components/sensors that could create such scenarios when bad. It could be something as simple as MAF or as complex as gearbox issues. |

Hi Bimmers, I'm considering buying the 2016 BMW X3 series. Do you think it's a good car for Nigeria road. And could last me 5-10years usage without any issue. PS: I already have a corolla, so won't be an every day car |
| Re: BMW Owners' Forum by chukel(m): 8:15pm On Jul 17, 2022 |
topradar4:5-10yrs without any issues? You must be joking. Even your "reliable" corolla won't be that reliable. |
| Re: BMW Owners' Forum by 735i(m): 10:09pm On Jul 17, 2022 |
chukel:I'd advice you'd import it yourself from fcpeuro. They'd give you a warranty that you can call on if the need arises. |
| Re: BMW Owners' Forum by topradar4(f): 4:06pm On Jul 18, 2022 |
chukel:That means i shouldn't then. My Corrolla is 5 years already and still serving me like i just got it. |

Hello, Bimmer owners in the house, I just recently acquired a BMW 3 series e46 318i (2001 production year) and it has ECU/ECM (brain box) issues. The problem is getting the right match for my car since the original ECU that came wit the car has been replaced with a mismatch. Please I need assistance on the correct part number for my car. Look forward to any help. |
