Is your employer that bad? No notice period? I think the option suggested earlier would have been better for you especially if your trip won't last more than a week or two. There is no guarantee that they will request your passport almost immediately and even if they do, you can send it to them when you return.
.

Thanks for your reply. i am secretive about it because i dont want the whole company aware of my impending travel when i never even get Visa. as per returning the passport when i return from the trip. my delay may affect my dependents visa since we are all applying together. it is a 5days trip.

Thanks and @Lexusgs430 thanks so much I added the certificate without additional cost.

I felt bad cos the one on the update service was only for adult and then when i got children and adult i thought i was going to pay again. My bank card had issues then so that was how I didnt add again and didnt accept the job again. when i got a new place they didnt accept the one I gave them because it was not on the update service. It was in course of looking for ways to dodge that money i saw somethjng like adding certificate to update service.

So i had to pay 55pounds for new dbs lol. Meanwhile the first two were free.

Thanks so much I didnt have to pay additional money for update.

Try BT, they're everywhere like MTN. 27 quid a month or so.
Virgin would be the best option, but they're not everywhere.

Virgin was my first option, but not in my postcode. Looking for something 100MBish and BT is above budget. Will keep scouring though. smiley

Thanks for taking your time to respond to the issue, I really appreciate. I will get means from friends and family rather than taking property from council.

You have no recourse to public funds ........ Council property, is public funds........

When Madam comes, set her loose on the job market..... Or look further than Birmingham for much cheaper accommodation.........

I would have adviced leaving them in Nigeria, but that would be excessively crude and insensitive....... But you don't want them to suffer o ......... Man by himself, can endure ....... With a complete family, e no go easy o .........

Hello all. My family got there visa in June with the validity commencing from July 20th. They are dependants of a skilled worker. I know skilled workers should resume at work within 28days of receiving visa, does this apply to the dependants please?

Does it really matter when they choose to travel? Thank you

Best app out there. Better than testi and all others as you can set it to autobook for you.

Cheers.

Thank You

It doesn't matter........go resume work and your family will come later, except you have enough money to come with your family together.

Does PSW count towards it?

kode12:

Well like i said in the opening statement, I wasn't speaking solely about this case, and i don't want to make others uncomfortable asking important questions.
Just to be clear, student visas will count towards the 10yr ILR but not 5yr route.
So if your cousin came in to do bsc, then went to msc and then PhD, he/she/her/they/it could get it.

everyone must/should enter before the expiration of the leave to enter vignette on passport… has been a 3 month window since Covid. If you dnt come before this date, then you will need to apply for vignette replacement (in Nigeria) to enter .
This is not free.

Yea but unfortunately the passport will not be with available for return to TLS when requested. I would be using it for the European travel. Both will clash

anytime u come back, you submit.. ideally within 2 weeks. Also with the delays UKVI is experiencing these days you can not speak so surely of timelines because timings/things have changed

It shouldn't affect your UK visa. I'll say go for it.

Hey Peeps,

I have a spare bedroom to rent in a 3 bedroom house. The house is a posh house with everything in it. You only need to bring your luggages. Everything is fully provided. The house is in Sutton-in-Ashfield. It's well located in a high class neighbourhood and its close to the bus station and train station. Sutton-in-Ashfield is very close to Nottingham uni (20 minutes by train) and Nottingham Trent uni (15 minutes bus)

Hello house, I am applying as a dependant, but I've studied in the UK before, some 8 years ago, and even worked briefly. Now, I need my NIN to complete this application. The truth is that I can't remember it and I don't even have my old emails anymore. Please any advise on way forward?

Call the UK NI number. I think all they asked was my name, dob and previous address I lived when I got my previous NI. If you have the info you should be alright. They’ll give you.
