the central midfield was poor in the first half. let's use the young lads there if we are not buying established players. that way we'd know we are developing the core of a team that will function in two years max.
playing a false 9 upfront too didn't help.
Maguire wasn't that bad but we can certainly use a better player there.

Getting Shaw and Maguire out of the team improves the team 80%.

Maguire can’t play high line. He’s useless to any tactic ETH might want to play. He’s slow on the ball and he doesn’t even score often from set plays.

Shaw is just totally useless. He cannot defend, he cannot attack. His crosses don’t clear the first man. He runs around like he’s busy but don’t be fooled.

He’s busy doing nothing.

It's the reason why our net spend is very high over the years.

Unlike Man Utd , Chelsea and Man City move useless players on very fast either by loan or outright sales after 2 or 3 seasons max of being useless to the team. That is what makes them recoup see of the transfer fees spent, thereby lowering their net spend.

We should play Eriksen (CM) and Martinez (DM) with proactive CBs behind them Varane and Baily.

Eriksson was the standout player for United. He was a light that was surrounded by darkness.

OluwaFred should be sent to the reserves or sold before the end of next week. Dude made 2 costly errors in the first 10 minutes. McTom was non existent. And Maguire will always Magwaya.

Eric don Hang is just starting to understand the problem on his hands.
