Bro, if you haven't done anything yet, don't waste your time doing other things. See a dermatologist who can give you laser treatment or injection. The injection is good because I know someone who had very big keloids all over his face but the injection flattened it so much that it looks like a miracle. If you have 50 to 70k, that'll solve the problem once and for all. No need for cream or whatever. See a dermatologist for either laser or injection treatment for keloid. In 2 weeks you should be fine.

Excess collagen on the skin during healing. Try kenalog injections to the affected site. It is a steroid and it will shrink the scar. Or you can get the cream too it works perfectly fine.

Don't do surgery on this, it may likely come back bigger. Use kenalog injection and crushed garlic, it works (especially on fresh growths).

Try and locate wild python oil.
It looks like a Vaseline. Once u get the original one, apple it

Don't let people's opinion drive you to go and create more problem for yourself. Be content with yourself. Everyone has something about them they are not proud of.

From my experience:
1. You should know that once you have a disposition towards forming keloids, any kind on trauma has a potential to make it worse and this includes injection (needles piercing the skin), insect bites, acne(especially when you break or press it), rashes, bruises, surgery, and any other trauma to skin.

2. If its not growing or disturbing you leave it alone and continue applying Vaseline, ori etc on it (every morning and night). It will fade with time.

3. If its growing or live(inflamed, itchy or painful) go see a dermatologist. They will likely recommend injection.

4. Because of the risk of more trauma on injection sites, doctors now use insulin syringe for injection rather than normal syringe. Insulin syringe is very tiny.

5. Surgery is rarely the answer because of the high risk of recurrence. Pls avoid unnecessary surgery.

6. Avoid touching it. Apply ice on it sometimes. It helps to reduce inflammation. If its active, try avoid bathing with hot water (from my experience, it makes it worse. I don't know if this applies to everybody).

7. Keep your skin clean and dry to avoid infection, acne or rashes that will worsen it.

8. If you have an injury or bruise, treat it immediately and do not let it fester. The longer the wound stays, the more likely to form bad scar. Start applying Vaseline on it immediately the skin closes (heals). This helps to prevent bad scars.

9. I read somewhere that people that are prone to keloids should avoid heavy carbohydrates, white flour, white sugar and sour-tasting foods. I don't know how true this is.

9. Crushed garlic works on keloids. Crush or blend garlic and apply the paste. You can also use cotton wool to apply the juice and leave it on the skin for few minutes. Pls do not leave it for more than 3-5 minutes at a go as it can burn the skin. Garlic juice is very powerful. If you have a very sensitive skin, pls avoid garlic juice or use with caution.

10. Some local centres use liquid nitrogen to freeze keloids. The expected outcome is that the keloid dries up with time and then falls off. Warnin: The liquid nitrogen can constitute trauma when sprayed on adjoining skin and therefore extend the keloids. Ensure you visit professionals.

11. Most importantly stay positive about your skin and accept yourself the way you are. Keloids are not caused by being dirty. In my opinion, it is not a disease. It is a form of abnormal scar growth that some people are predisposed to because of their skin.

I have been hoping to write about this. I hope this helps someone dealing with this terrible thing called keloids. When I make money, I plan to set up a foundation that will sponsor treatment of keloids for those that can't afford it. I also intend to invest into research on the subject. I believe there are very simple and sure treatments for keloids that are yet to be discovered.

If you can stand the smell of python fat. Used it over a period an it worked. Just apply on the scar at night.

If you can afford it, buy mederma advance scar gel. It should be 10-15k. The difference is very clear after 8 weeks of religious application of once a day
