Thank you

GraceMide1:

I apologize for responding now.
I can't really give you a definite description but I think this will help because that was how I found it.
From U.I, board a (bus, keke or even bike)to Bodija main market.from the main entrance of the market, Just keep on moving . In order to be calm, you may ask the traders for the description of Firstbank ( it's before Baobab).
Back to the description:
1. You can board a bike from the market junction/ entrance to Baobab microfinance or First bank(On the same lane.

Just be rest assured that Baobab Microfinance is within the market.

I hope this will help.

IF YOU HAVE VISITED LAPO AND OPENED AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM. FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS. Especially if it is more than one week you have opened account with them, you may have been paid and not realize it.

First thing is to note that LAPO does not send account number and initial alerts to their customers like commercial banks do. To verify your account number, you have to go to the bank and confirm or follow this process:

1. Dial *371# with the phone number you registered with LAPO.

2. If your account has been opened, it will ask you to register a 4 digit code for transactions. Input any 4 digit.

3. Then proceed to check balance. You will see two LAPO accounts now. The first one is the original account opened for you by LAPO (and most likely will contain the money you gave to them during your account opening)
The second account is where you should get your loan money from NYIF.

4. Check the balance of the second account and you may be lucky to be paid already. If not, just chill then. At least you know that the process to get your money is underway.

Thanks

Just did this, I saw only one account sha, the one I opened

From their approach you'll know that they're useless. Directing security to attend to thier client

Yes, I have been credited. It's advisable to visit the branch (Baobab) for physical verification and documents signing.
.

Have you been able to withdraw the fund In your baobab account, m having difficulty doing that

I just tried it the next day and it went through. I transferred 249,900 instead of the whole thing. Left N100 there, they deducted N4 sms, and about N40 transfer charges.

Still finding it to do my transfer too. O boy I pray I don't have heart attack

I'm sensing foul play somewhere, my account was credited, and I then proceeded to LAPO branch at Bódìjà Ibadan. I was given a form to fill and the schedule of my repayment. From my calculation, I'm supposed to be paying back 4,700+ every month for 60 months. The payment schedule reads 6,051 every month for 60 months. I refused to sign the documents and left the place.

When did you open account and when were you credited?

Also are you sure you calculated right? Because the difference is 1000 something, which is huge in 60 months

I opened in June but I just realized that I have been credited last week, I didn't get alert. Infact I also loan calculator to confirm, then I got my answer correctly. Their calculation is wrong unless there is hidden explanation on the loan I don't know of
Re: NYIF Loan Discussion Thread by Azidol(m): 2:48pm On Aug 14, 2022
Using first bank loan calculator, I even got less to pay month. Around 4300

Irrespective of who is giving the loan. Amount to be paid every month is too much. Imagine paying 6051x60 = ₦ 363, 060. So you collect ₦250,000 to pay back ₦363,060?

That's the most funniest thing, they didn't attend to me, they instructed their security man to attend to me. I just left the place jare. I don't need their money again if that is how the payment will be.

it is not as if they are begging you, afterall na you find them come, business is all about profit, if you divide it by 5 years, you will be paying 23k per year in interest, how about paying your loan back before that time, o boi find chair siddon, even if the money is free, some people wont be able to utilize it, they will use it f-ck ashawo, go club, buy iphone, no business initiative, an average business minded person can multiply that money 10x in 5 years, mtchew, ordinary small car wash dey make 200k plus per month, please reject spirit of poverty and all its forms, leave your comfort zone, pray that GOD delives you from spirit of fear, amen

That means the interest rate is 9% instead of the 5% speculated here.
Use 9% to calculate the #250,000 loan, the interest at the end of the 5 years would be #112,500 totalling #362,500.

Did u consider d moratorium?? Its a period of 12 months. If d moratorium is 12 months, it means u will pay for 48 months

Just wanted to say this, I haven't received mine yet, but I heard from a previous recipient that you don't start paying back immediately. I'm not yet clear on it sha, but I think what you said is correct.
